Ralko Vlada
Ralko Vlada (b. 1969, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian artist. Lives and
works in Kyiv. Member of the National Union of Artists of
Ukraine since 1994. Winner of the Women In Arts Award
(2019).
He was born into a family repressed by the Stalinist regime. Since the
age of 8, he has been engaged in painting, and at the age of 10, he is
fond of photography. After finishing high school and serving in the army,
he entered the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (Kharkiv State
Academy of Design and Arts), graduating in 1979 with a red diploma.
Student of professor, laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, professor
Boris Vasyliovych Kosarev. In 1981, he became a graduate student of the
creative workshops of the Academy of Arts of the USSR, a scientific
director, a valid member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR, a laureate
of the State Prizes of the USSR, Professor Serhii Oleksiyovych Grigoriev.
At the same time, he works as a production designer for the feature film
at the O. P. Dovzhenko Kyiv Film Studio "Captured by Ghosts" (1984),
directed by Anatoliy Ivanov.In 1985–1988, since 1996 he has been living
and working in Kyiv. In 1992, he received the title of Honored Artist of
Ukraine, in 1998 - People's Artist of Ukraine. In 1983, a son, Andriy
Sydorenko, was born, who also works in the field of art.
