COURSE DESCRIPTION

LEARNING OBJECTIVES DURATION

• Explain the functionality of the K-Chief 700 system 27 hours
including main system components and hardware

700 system

Electronic technicians, electricians, and maintenance technology (AIM 7.x) only.

• General knowledge of electronics English if not otherwise agreed.

• System documentation Certification of attendance will be issued upon completion
• Loop typicals of the course.
• Serial line theory
• I/O configuration
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of hardware
• Troubleshooting through practical exercises

LEARNING PROCESS
The training will be a combination of theoretical lessons
and practical exercises. Focus will be on hardware design,
location of components, system fault-finding, diagnostic
tools and maintenance. Each participant will be using a BOOKING & INFORMATION
stand-alone operator station and simulated process stations www.km.kongsberg.com/training
during the course. For more practical exercises, a separate
lab including relevant hardware components will be used.
