A verb is a word that signifies an action or existence. The verb may be single
word, e.g. ‘I am here. She sings. They prayed in the hall.’’ Or The verb may be a
doubled word, e.g. ‘I am going home. She will sing. They have prayed in the
hall.’’ Or The verb may be multiple word, e.g. ‘’ we have been talking about
verbs. The bull are being killed in the abattoir. You could have been injured in
the field.’’
