I. OBJECTIVES

Through the given discussion and demonstration of this lesson in 30


minutes with 85% accuracy, the students shall be able to:

a. Comprehend the role of entrepreneurship in society, including its


potential to solve social issues and contribute to economic development;
b. Encourage ethical decision-making and responsibility in entrepreneurial
ventures; and
c. Implement entrepreneurial skills in a real-world context to address a
social issue, such as creating a infographic for a social enterprise.

ENTREPRENEUR. Is a person who organizes a business venture and


assumes risk for it.
SOCIAL IMPACT. Impact can be positive or negative. the effect on
people and communities that happens as a result of an action or
inaction, an activity, project, programme or policy.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP. A person who undertakes an entreprise,
especially a contractor acting as the intermediary between capital
and labour.
SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Is the use of start up companies
and other entrepreneurs to develop, find and implement solutions to
social, cultural, or environmental issues.
