Overview of the Program

This training program is designed for various employees and their representatives, business
leaders and managers and entrepreneurs of micro, small and medium enterprises on pandemic
preparedness and response focusing on safe management measures in the workplace. This
program reviews the current situation of MSMEs in terms of COVID variants and vaccines. A
5-module training program, this is a self-assessment on safe management preparedness and
response as currently implemented by MSMEs as they gradually open their businesses. The 4K
Framework on pandemic preparedness and response for MSMEs is introduced and can be used
as a basis for a business continuity plan for pandemic situations.

This self-paced training program provides participants flexibility in learning and allows them to
progress at their own pace. Program participants will be enrolled in an online learning
management system platform called NEO-LMS where they can access the course. Materials and
assignments are available and can be submitted on the platform within the duration of the
training.

Participants who will complete the course on or before January 25, 2022 will receive a
Certificate of Completion.

Objectives of the Program


At the end of the program, participants should be able to:
1. Review the current situation of MSMEs in terms of COVID variants, vaccines, and booster
shots.
2. Complete a self-assessment checklist on preventing and mitigating COVID 19 in the
workplace
3. Assess the different safety management measures implemented in various industries
vital for pandemic preparedness and response that can be applied by MSMEs
4. Relate the 4K framework as a basis for pandemic preparedness and response for MSMEs
5. Enhance their preparedness and response to pandemic situation that can be a basis for a
business continuity plan.

Duration
The entire program can be completed in 25 hours, self-paced, from January 12 to 25, 2022.
Below are the number of hours per module:
● Module 1: Where are we now? - 3 hours
● Module 2: What we did? - 4 hours
● Module 3: What can I contribute? - 6 hours
● Module 4: What can I do? - 7 hours
● Module 5: Our ways forward - 5 hours

Registration Process
1. Interested participants may register via this link: bit.ly/DTISAFEMGT
2. Registrants need to enter some personal information so the organizers can process the
registration. Collected information will only be used for the purposes of the program and
will only be accessible to the organizers (DTI-BSMED and Thames International).
3. The DTI Regional Offices will do some verification in the registration.
4. Verified registrants will be enrolled in the NEO-LMS on or before January 11, 2022. Once
enrolled, they will receive a confirmation email, the link to join the NEO-LMS, and the
Zoom link to join the Live Kickoff of the Program on January 12, 2022.
5. Once in the NEO-LMS, participants may go through the Module 0 of the course. This
pre-course module will contain the following:

c. Elements of the Program
i. Training Materials (Read Articles and Videos to watch)
ii. Knowledge Checks
iii. Module Outputs (Assessment Tools)
d. How to use Neo LMS
e. Zoom Link for the Kickoff
6. After the Kickoff on January 12, 2022, participants may now go through the program at
their own pace.
