Pending Aid: All financial aid offered will show as estimated on your tuition bill except federal
work study (paid directly to students for hours worked). After classes have started each term,
we will officially disburse all aid programs for which we have received funding. Any aid program
for which we have not received funds, or programs that additional paperwork is needed will no
longer be displayed on the student's account. This could mean that your account will show an
outstanding balance until required paperwork is completed or until the funds are actually
received. Federal Direct Loans will not be disbursed until all required documentation and online
steps are completed and received by the university.

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is evaluated at the end of the Spring semester. If it is
determined that you have not met the minimum requirements, the programs contained on this
Financial Aid Offer will be voided.

Federal Direct Student Loans for undergraduate students are awarded based on your current
class standing at the time of awarding. If you advance to the next grade level at the end of a
semester, you may qualify for additional loan funds. Contact your Student Financial Planning
Counselor if you believe that you qualify for an increase.

Adjustments to your financial aid offer may affect the amount you are paying if you are enrolled
in a monthly payment plan. Please contact the Office of Student Accounts regarding this
matter at 336-841-9259 or studentaccounts@highpoint.edu
(mailto:studentaccounts@highpoint.edu).
