Vaccination and Immunization

• Visit the doctor to check my vaccines.

• Plan my vaccination schedule - At least two month prior to my trip.
• Get a vaccine certificate and buy health insurance holiday.
• I have a ready documentation

Arrival

• Arrange a meet-and-great service – Location: The Gustavo Rojas

Pinilla International Airport.

Clothes

• Get flip flops.

• Get Bathing suits , shorts , dresses beach,hats , sunblock ,
Moisturizers , hair conditioners , sunscreen for lips
• Get a insect repellent

Money and payment

• have to save enough money for my trip.

• I can’t travel without money in my wallet
• Know location of banks y electronic cashiers

Animal behavior

• Know the animals of the place

• Do not hit the animals
Hello! I'm going to San Andres Islands soon! Let me describe my "walk on
the beach" checklist for you.

My checklist includes five important aspects. The first and most

important

one, it is Vaccination and immunization. In Colombia, it is required for trips to

the coast to have the yellow fever vaccine. For that reason, I have to visit the
doctor to verify my registration and plan a vaccination schedule (in case I
need it) at least fifteen days before my departure

The second point on my list is the arrival. The hotel is not near the airport so
I need to make arrangements to receive and greet the service.

The travel agency assigns me someone to pick me up at Gustavo Rojas

Pinilla International Airport.

They already know the day and time of arrival.

Also, I need to make sure I have the right clothes for San Andres.

San Andres is an island, so the cilma is warm and most importantly, the
ocean.

Therefore, I need to buy several shirts and shorts for the hot weather.

There are also many insects. I need an insect repellent to carry with meat all
times.

The fourth point on my list is money. The official currency is the peso but
they also receive dollars. Although there are several ATMs on the island, I
need to make sure I have enough cash with me in case I do not find one.

Finally, there is one important thing to consider. That is the contact with
animals during the trip. I can’t mistreat the animals of the place.
