PENYELIDIKAN PERAIRAN MUARA (PEMBETULAN)

MUARA WATER SURVEY (CORRECTION)

Pelaut-pelaut adalah diperingatkan bahawa kerja-
kerja penyelidikan disebutkan diatas akan diadakan
dikawasan perairan Muara, Negara Brunei
Darussalam yang bermula pada 25hb Januari 2018
sehingga 31hb Disember 2018. Ianya akan
menyebabkan pembatasan kepada keselamatan
pelayaran.
Mariners are hereby notify that the survey works
mentioned above will be conducted at the Muara
waters, Brunei Darussalam with which has
commenced on the 25th January 2018 until 31st
December 2018. It is recognized that it can cause
restrictions to safety of navigation.

Keterangan Aktiviti:
Keterangan aktiviti adalah seperti berikut:-
i. **Penggunaan Acoustic Doppler Current
Profiler (ADCP 1) bagi tempoh (01) satu
tahun bagi pengenalpastian arus. ADCP ini
akan dilengkapi dengan boya marin
berwarna kuning dengan lampu berkelip
berwarna kuning.
ii. Penggunaan ADCP2 bagi tempoh 2 bulan;
iii. Penggunaan YSI sonde di kawasan ternakan
aqua bagi penyelidikan sedimen yang
terampai;
iv. Penyelidikan air pada 7 lokasi;
v. Penyelidikan sedimen flux;
vi. Penyelidikan batu karang dengan penyelam
SKUBA bagi mengetahui keadaan batu
karang di Pulau Pelumpong;
vii. Penyelidikan rumput laut dengan cara
berjalan dipermukaan air untuk mengetahui
kebanyakkan dan keadaan rumput laut di
kawasan Timur Pulau Muara Besar.
Isyarat Amaran Disediakan:
Bot tersebut akan mempamerkan pemasangan
bendera untuk penyelidikan. Isyarat semboyan hon
akan digunakan semasa kecemasan. Boya marin akan
digunakan untuk menandakan kawasan penyelidikan.
Lain-Lain Keperluan:
Pelaut-pelaut adalah diingatkan untuk berlayar
dengan berhati-hati dan menjauhi diri dalam jarak
yang selamat (minima 50 meter) dari kawasan
operasi dan mengamalkan sifat-sifat kepelautan yang
terbaik ketika berada dialam kawasan operasi
tersebut. Mana-mana kapal dikehendaki untuk
menjauhi diri daripada operasi. Pelaut-pelaut
dilarang memancing dikawasan berhampiran
kawasan penyelidikan batu karang dan kawasan
aktiviti penyelaman SKUBA.

Pemberitahuan kepada pelaut-pelaut 53/2017 (S)
adalah dengan ini dibatalkan.

Details of Activities:
Details of activities are as follows:-
i. **Deployment of bottom mounted (Acoustic
Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP1) for a
period of (01) one year. The ADCP will be
mounted on a yellow marine buoy (special
mark) with yellow flashing light.
ii. Deployment of offline ADCP2 for a period of
two months
iii. Deployment of YSI sonde at aquaculture
facilities to record suspended sediment
iv. Water quality survey at 7 locations
v. Sediment flux survey;
vi. Coral survey to be carried by means of scuba
diving to determine health of coral reef at
Pelumpong Spit
vii. Seagrass survey to be carried out by means
of walkover to determine density and health
of seagrass North of PMB
Warning Signals Provided:
The boat will exhibit survey flag accordingly. Horn
sound signal will be used in event of danger. Marine
buoy will be deployed for the demarcation of the
survey area.
Other Requirements:
Mariners are required to navigate with caution and to
keep away in a safe distance (minimum 50 meters)
from operation site and commensurate with good
seamen-ship while in the vicinity of the operation site.
Other vessels are required to stay clear from the
operation. Mariners are prohibited to conduct
fishing at the vicinity of the Coral survey area and
SKUBA diving activity area.

The previous NTM 53/2017 (T) is hereby cancelled.
