Metalline Entropy

Decay is not the end

Metalline Entropy

all puzzles pieces come to perform its duty under the right light

the light of faith, the light of watching the Initiative, the fire that first
lighted the earth

“Who wounds when alive, heals when

dead”
Decay is not the end
Surface of the water

shuttered winds green breeze touching soft permanent skin

fossils of trapped memories resurfacing to kiss the forehead of a quiet
goodnight

heavier waters grounding solid sorrow, refound in towers of deja vu
Decay is not the end

reflectional serenity reaching hoping,

murk below sleet
in hopes of spring water slowly
melting the ice,
crackling and kissing the soft stones
in the creek
there there, finding imitation metal behind
rustle of branches
in the backyard picking and picking soil
covered silver
waiting for metalline weeping
We lie together in a field with forgiving, lost clouds in the sky

there are mountains of steel beneath us, engaging with nostalgia that seems
to flow through to the ocean in front of us

if paradise was found in the present i hope to look back and walk in the river
of deja vu
can we feel today was worth it?

Friction hard water cuts your animal in half, and you find the iron too heavy
to forgive for now

See you soon
