Importance of Effective Teaching in Education

One of the many things that are developing and changing with technology today is the existence of online courses. Since
this comes out as a need, it is useful by people for most things as well. However, there are cons as well as it is pros. In
this article, I will explain why brick and mortar employees are more in advance than those who take online courses or
work online.

First of all, the more we want to learn information, the more time and effort we need to spend on that information. For
example, in ancient times, how many libraries were visited and how many books were opened to learn information, right?
But nowadays, reaching information depends on clicking two fingers. Especially with the COVID-19 virus, although
online lessons, which are an even more part of our lives, add convenience to our lives, they pass by without being able to
collect students' attention at all, prepare before classes, and thus make extra efforts. This causes students to continue their
lives without discipline. On the other hand, preparing in advance for face-to-face lessons and making an effort for that
lesson also increases the students' attention rate.

Another factor is opportunities and possibilities. These are the opportunities that most of them have in schools. For
example, like the socializing environments at the university, like sports clubs or art clubs, the ability to ask questions to
teachers, discuss information with them, meet one-on-one to get ideas, or, as the simplest example, to catch their gestures
and understand what they want to say. However, most of the time, students in online courses do not even have the
opportunity to get to know their teachers, they cannot get any examples from them, also if they do not have a chance to
access a good internet connection, they lose their right to get a proper and qualified education. At the end of the following
process, they graduate after receiving just their graduation certificates. That's why they may not be able to improve
themselves.

Finally, there may stem a problem of self-conscious on online graduaters because of the critism and expectations of the
society. They are currently under a psychological pressure through strict comments from society, and people who they
serve do not trust on them by comparing the brick and mortory graduaters. Since they do not receive any application on
their fields, that makes them unexperienced and less trust-worthy. They often hear sayings like "the online graduaters do
not even do internship, they just hear, write and pass through exams, that's all it for them". Thus, based on these
circumstances the possibility of making mistakes, giving wrong treatments and generating a low self-esteem increases for
the online graduaters.

In summary, the information learned by people who receive face-to-face education and people who receive online
education is the same, but the quality of life, socialization, even getting into a position ready for classes will improve
humanely, so people who graduate from online courses will be missing most of the time compared to people who
graduate from brick-and-mortar courses.
