EVENT Voice Odyssey

SINGING Time: 3:30 PM Onwards | Venue: Auditorium

Are you ready to embark on a journey where every note resonates with
passion, every melody tells a story, and your voice becomes the hero of
the tale? If so, then you're invited to join the musical escapade of a
lifetime – the Voice Odyssey Singing Competition!
Voice Odyssey is not just a competition; it's a celebration of voices, a
symphony of emotions, and a stage where your vocal prowess takes
center stage. We are on the lookout for the next vocal sensation, the
maestro of melodies, and the lyric luminary who can captivate hearts
with every note.
Whether you're a seasoned performer or a first-time contender, Voice
Odyssey welcomes all vocal adventurers. Unleash the power of your
voice, explore the depths of your emotions, and let the music be your
guide in this extraordinary quest for vocal brilliance.

Rules:
This is an individual event.
Time allotted for each performance is 3 minutes post which there
would be reduction in marks.
Participants can select songs from classical/ semi – classical /
western/ Bollywood or whichever genre they wish to perform.
English songs are allowed for the performance.
Each participant is required to bring their own instruments. Usage
of karaoke is allowed.
Use of pre- recorded tracks are prohibited.
Participants can perform with one instrumental accompanist.

EVENT Rangmanch (The Stage Play)

RANGMANCH Time: 10 AM Onwards | Venue: Auditorium

The stage play is a form of literature and performing arts that tells a
story through the actions, dialogue and emotions. In Aagaz you have to
perform an act based on any common or social issues related to any
culture, trends, etc. Basically, you have to showcase your creativity
through these acts; you can include humor, sarcasm and satire as well.
Note – Participants can include dance, music, songs and other props
and costumes to reach out to the audiences more effectively.

Rules:
5-12 members in one team.
Maximum time limit can be 15 minutes for performance and set
up.
Points will be deducted for vulgarity.
Use of foul language is strictly prohibited
Recorded music, song, dance is allowed.
Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
The list of props that are going to be used for the Drama act must
first be approved by the Aagaz Organizing committee.

EVENT Dance Through

DANCE Decades
Time: 2:30 PM Onwards | Venue: Auditorium

“Join us for an unforgettable dance event that will celebrate the joy of
movement and life!!!

Jaipuria Institute of Management is organizing a Dance event "Dance

Through Decades" is a solo dance event that celebrates the evolution
of dance styles and music across various decades. In this event,
dancers showcase iconic dance styles from different time periods. The
event typically features a diverse range of dance genres like freestyle,
jazz, swing, disco, hip-hop, contemporary, and many more. Dancers
may incorporate elements such as period-appropriate costumes,
props, and music to enhance the authenticity and immersive
experience for the audience.

Performance Guidelines:
Time Limit: 2 Minutes
Participants can perform any style of dance, from classical to
contemporary, that showcases their chosen emotion

Rules:
This is an individual event.
Any dance form is allowed.

EVENT Fashionista
FASHIONISTA Time: 4:00 PM Onwards | Venue: Auditorium

Step into a world where fashion and culture merge in perfect harmony - join us
for an unforgettable experience. Our extraordinary event promises to be a
spellbinding fusion of creativity, style, and elegance.
Round 1: Cultural Attire Walk (5 minutes)
Participants will walk the runway showcasing attire that represents their
cultural heritage.
This can include traditional clothing, modern interpretations of cultural
elements, or creative fusions of different cultures.
Round 2: Sharing a Cultural Gem (2 minutes)
After the walk, each participant will have 2 minutes to share a unique
aspect of their culture on stage.
This could be a story, tradition, art form, food, language, or any other
element they find noteworthy.

Rules:
This is an Individual Event.
Theme - Cultural Fusion
Time allotted for Round 1- 5 minutes (per participant) & for Round 2- 2
minutes (per participant)
Participants are encouraged to wear traditional or contemporary attire
that best represents their cultural background.
Video Clips, photographs can be used in the performance and should be
brought by the respective participants.
The participants are requested to report to the college an hour before the
competition starts.
The soundtrack and performance should not be offensive to any law or
community.

BEYOND Beyond the

THE Limelight
LIMELIGHT Time: 4:30 PM Onwards | Venue: Auditorium

Beyond the Limelight is not your typical open mic event. It's a unique
platform where participants step beyond the conventional realms of singing
and dancing to showcase an array of extraordinary talents. This one-of-a-kind
open mic contest transcends the boundaries of traditional performance,
inviting individuals to captivate the audience with talents that often lie
beyond the limelight.The event promises a diverse range of performances
that go beyond the expected, creating an atmosphere of creativity and
innovation. Participants are encouraged to bring forward talents that may be
unconventional or often overlooked.Beyond the Limelight is its commitment
to providing a stage for hidden talents and unique skills that may not find a
place in mainstream entertainment. This inclusivity opens the door for
participants to express themselves authentically and share their passions
with an engaged and appreciative audience.

Rules:
This is an individual event
Time allotted for each performance is 2 minutes post which there would
be reduction in marks
Participants can perform whatever they wish to: be it standup comedy,
poetry, rapping, beatboxing, instrument playing, monologue and etc.
In case with the rap, participants are allowed to bring there background
music if they want. Pre- recorded audio is not allowed.
Each participant is required to bring their own instruments. Usage of
karaoke is allowed.
Any form of discrimination or offensive content will not be tolerated.
Participants are encouraged to present original content, originality is
highly valued.

Welcome to Jingle Mingle, have you ever thought that the Jingle you
heard as a child can you help win an event today, OR are you an
advertisement enthusiast, join us for a competition that will test your
ability to identify the Ads that once were TV Kings, or once have ruled
social media, The event promises to be engaging, amazing, and
wonderful.

Rules:
This is a team event.
Each team should consist of 2 members.
It will be conducted on Kahoot!
There will be 30 Ads that needed to be identified, which will either
be Poster, Audio, or Vedio.
The top 3 scorers will be declared the winner based on Timing and
Accuracy.

complete in a stipulated time, wherein the team who finds all the
treasure first will be declared winner.

Rules:
This is a team event.
Each team should consist of 3 to 4 members.
It will be conducted inside the campus premises.
Use of the Internet is not allowed.

exceptional quiz-based event. This promises not only to be the best
but also an event that will be knowledge-filled yet exciting!

Rules:
This is a team event.
Each team should consist of 3 members.
It will be a quiz-based event, where questions will range from
general awareness to business sense.
The quiz will be conducted in multiple rounds and in multiple
ways.
The top 3 scorers will be declared the winner based on Score.
