EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP STYLES

After considering many posts by Pres. Biden from @POTUS and @JoeBiden, I am convinced that

the POTUS is closer to the mold of Pres. Jimmy Carter (hands-on) than Pres. Ronald Regan (hands-off) as

described in the textbook at page 257.

I opine this because his many tweets leads me to believe that he is hands-on, detailed, and tries

to supervise much of his administration. For Example from @POTUS on 2/25 he addresses the failure of

the gov’t to keep up with to date with the immigration system in this country and invers that the

republicans can no longer do anything about but has to reach a compromise with the democrats on the

problem and on another tweet of the same day he addresses issues concerning women and states that

he and the VP are fighting for their freedom, along with their families and the doctors who care for those

women.

In addition, @Joe Biden on 2/25, Pres. Biden he addresses a clip by Donald Trump admitting he

sabotaged a bipartisan deal to secure the US borders, saying Trump is fighting against America every

chance that he gets and on another tweet of the same day, Pres. Biden questions whether the

Republican party serves Trump or the American people, whether they are looking for solutions to solve

American’s problem or simply weaponizing them for political attacks? He assures the platform that he is

working for the people.

These type of tweets leads me to believe that he is overwhelming himself with the daily

functions of the government.
