Procedure for using LN2 trap on Circulation system.

1) Note down the He Dump tank pressure

2) Open Valves V1, V3 and V2
3) To use Liquid Nitrogen Trap open Valve CT1 and CT2 keeping valve V4 closed.
4) Fill the LN2 Trap with L. Nitrogen and then start the circulation pump (nXDS).
5) Always maintain certain level of Liquid nitrogen in the trap.
6) If LN2 Trap is not to be used for further circulation then always collect He gas back to He dump tank
by closing valve V3 only.
7) After complete collection of Helium back in dump tank as per our previous designated pressure. Close
valve CT1 and CT2.

8) When LN2 Trap is not to be used Closed Valve CT1 and CT2 and open Valve V4 (this will be acting as
bypass valve for the system) and then start the circulation pump.
9) To stop circulation again closed only valve V3 to collect all the He gas back to dump tank
