O Allah, grant us the good in this world and the good in the

Hereafter and save us from the torment of Hell-Fire.

(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 4522)

O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world

and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and
well-being in my religious and my worldly affairs. O Allah,
conceal my faults, calm my fears, and protect me from before
me and behind me, from my right and my left, and from above
me, and I seek refuge in You from being taken unaware from
beneath me.
ِ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ِإنِي أَ ْسأَلُ َك ْال َع ْف َو َو ْال َعافِيَةَ فِي ال ُّد ْنيَا َو‬

(Sunan Ibn Majah 3871)

O Allah! seek refuge with You from miserliness, and seek refuge
with You from cowardice, and seek refuge with You from being
brought back to (senile) geriatric old age, and seek refuge with
You from the affliction of the world and from the punishment
in the Hereafter.
‫ َوأَ ُعوذُ ِب َك ِم ْن أَ ْن نُ َر َّد ِإلَى‬،‫ َوأَ ُعوذُ ِب َك ِم نَ ْال ُجب ِْن‬،‫اللَّ ُه َّم ِإ ِني أَ ُعوذُ ِب َك ِم نَ ْال ُب ْخ ِل‬
‫ب ْال َقب ِْر‬
ِ ‫ َو َعذَا‬،‫ َوأَ ُعوذُ بِ َك ِم ْن ِفتْنَ ِة ال ُّد ْنيَا‬،‫أَ ْرذَ ِل ْالعُ ُم ِر‬
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6390)
O Allah, bring me to account with an easy reckoning.
‫ِيرا‬
ً ‫الل ُه َّم َحا ِس ْبنِي حِ َسابًا يَس‬
(Musnad Aḥmad 24215)

I seek refuge in Allah from the torment of the Hellfire. I seek refuge
in Allah from the torment of the grave. I seek refuge in Allah from
tribulations, the evident of them and the hidden. I seek refuge in
Allah from the tribulation of the False Messiah.

There is no God but Allah alone without any partners. O Allah, none
can withhold what You give and none can give what You withhold.
The might of the mighty is no benefit against You.

O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and affluence

َ َ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ِإنِي أَسْأَلُكَ ا ْل ُهدَى َوالتقَى َوا ْل َعف‬
َ‫اف َوا ْل ِغن‬

(Sunan Ibn Majah 3832)

O Allah, forgive me all my sins, great and small, the first and the
last, those that are apparent and those that are hidden.
ُ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ا ْغف ِْر لِي ذَ ْن ِبي ُكلَّه ُ ِدقَّه ُ َو ِجلَّه ُ َوأَ َّولَه ُ َوآخِ َر ُه َو َعال َ ِن َيتَه ُ َوس َِّره‬
(Ṣaḥ īḥ Muslim 483)
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety, sorrow, disability,
laziness, cowardice, miserliness, the burdens of debt, and the
repression of men.
َ ‫ َو‬،‫ َو ْال ُجب ِْن َو ْالب ُْخ ِل‬،‫ َو ْالعَجْ ِز َو ْال َك َس ِل‬،‫اللَّ ُه َّم إِنِي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ ْال َه ِم َو ْال َحزَ ِن‬

O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.

ُ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم إِنَّكَ َعفُ ٌّو تُحِ بُّ ْالعَ ْف َو فَاع‬

O Turner of the hearts, affirm my heart upon Your religion!

َ‫ت قَ ْل ِبي َعلَى دِينِك‬ ِ ‫ِب ْالقُلُو‬

(Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2140)

O Allah, the Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts to Your

obedience
َ ‫ف قُلُو َبنَا َعلَى‬
َ‫طا َعتِك‬ ْ ‫ص ِر‬ ِ ‫ف ْالقُلُو‬
َ ‫ب‬ َ ‫اللَّ ُه َّم ُم‬
َ ‫ص ِر‬
(Sahih Muslim 2655)

O Allah! To You I have submitted, and in You do I believe, and in

You I put my trust, to You do I turn, and for You I argued. O
Allah, I seek refuge with You through Your Power; there is none
worthy of worship except You Alone; that You safeguard me
against going astray. You are the Ever Living, the One Who
sustains and protects all that exists; the One Who never dies,
whereas human beings and jinn will all die.

O Allah. I beg of Thee the right guidance, safeguard against evils,
chastity and freedom from want
(Sahih Muslim 2721)

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the Incomparably

Great, the Compassionate. None has the right to be worshipped
but Allah the Rabb of the Mighty Throne. None has the right to
be worshipped but Allah the Rabb of the heavens, the Rabb of the
earth, and the Rabb of the Honourable Throne

‫ ال إله إال هللا رب‬،‫ ال إله إال هللا رب العرش العظيم‬،‫ال إله إال هللا العظيم الحليم‬

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the withdrawal of Your

blessing and the change of Your protection (from me) and from
the sudden wrath of You, and from every displeasure of You

Glory is to You, O Allah, our Lord, and praise is Yours. O Allah,

forgive me.

O Allah, suffice (i.e. protect) me against them however You wish

 O Allah, help me in remembering You, in giving You thanks, and
worshipping You well

with the highest companions (in Paradise)

O Allah! Set me apart from my sins (faults) as the East and West
are set apart from each other and clean me from sins as a white

O Allah, grant me pardon, have mercy upon me, direct me to
the path of righteousness, grant me protection and provide me
sustenance

O Allah, I ask You for all that is good, in this world and in the
Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah, I
seek refuge with You from all evil, in this world and in the
Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah, I
ask You for the good that Your slave and Prophet has asked
You for, and I seek refuge with You from the evil from which
Your slave and Prophet sought refuge. O Allah, I ask You for
Paradise and for that which brings one closer to it, in word
and deed, and I seek refuge in You from Hell and from that
which brings one closer to it, in word and deed. And I ask You
to make every decree َ that You decreeَ concerning me good

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision

and acceptable deeds

Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise, I bear witness that
there is none worthy of worship except You, I seek You

I seek the forgiveness of Allah (three times). O Allah, You

are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O

O Allah, You are my strength and You are my support.

For Your sake, I go forth and for Your sake, I advance
and for Your sake, I fight.

Glorified be You, O Allah, our Lord! All the praises are for
You. O Allah, forgive me
‫ اللهم اغفر لي‬،‫سبحانك اللهم ربنا وبحمدك‬

O Allah! Direct me to the Right Path and make me adhere
to the Straight Path

O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy.

If You please You ease sorrow.

O Allah! I seek refuge in you lest I associate anything with

you while I know it, and I seek your forgiveness for what I
do not know

O Allah, let the best of my lifetime be its ending, and my best deed
be that which I seal, and the best of my days the day I meet You

O Allah, the stars have vanished, the eyes have slept, the kings have
locked their doors, and Your door remains open. Every lover has
found privacy with their beloved, and here I am standing before You

O Allah, Originator of the heavens and earth, Knower of the seen

and unseen, I testify in this worldly life of mine that if You leave me
to myself, You are by that bringing my closer to harm and distancing
me from good. I have no confidence except in Your mercy, so let
that be a covenant that You deliver to me on the Day of Judgment
— for You never break Your promises

My Lord, my sins are enormous, but a little of Your forgiveness is

greater than them. O Allah, so erase with a little of Your
forgiveness my enormous sins

O Allah, I ask You for faith that does not unravel, and delight that
never depletes, and the companionship of Your prophet Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬
in the highest eternal garden

O Allah, protect me from the greed of my soul!

You have shown us Your power, so show us Your forgiveness

O Allah, You are who You are, and I am who I am; You are the One
who keeps forgiving, and I am the one who keeps sinning, so forgive
me!
My God, do not punish a tongue that informs about You, nor an eye
that looks upon (Islamic) sciences which point to You, nor a hand that
writes the traditions of Your Messenger. So by Your honor, do not admit
me into the Fire

O Allah, if you have granted any righteous servant of Yours a station

because of a trial they faced, then grant it to me while sparing me that
trial

O Allah dont forbid me from the good you have, for the evil I have

O Allah, write for me a reward with You because of it (the prostration),

and remove from me a sin because of it, and stow it for me as a
treasure with You, and accept it from me as You accepted it from Your
servant David (Dawud), upon him be blessings and peace

O Allah, make me better than what they think of me, and forgive me
for what they do not know about me, and do not take me to account
for what they say about me

Your light was complete, so You guided; all praise is to You. Your
forbearance was great, so You forgave; all praise is to You. You held out
Your Hand, so You gave; all praise is to You. Our Lord, Your face is the
noblest of faces, Your prestige is the greatest prestige, and Your gifts
are the best of gifts and the most wonderful. Our Lord, You are obeyed
and You show appreciation. You are disobeyed, Our Lord, yet you pardon
whomever. You respond to one in hardship and you remove harm. You
heal the sick. You deliver from difficulty. You accept repentance. You
forgive sins. The word of no one can compensate for your bounties, nor
count the praises You deserve

O Allah show me guidance as guidance, and allow me to follow it. And

show me error as error, and allow me to avoid it
