Unleashing the Power of AI: Examining the Academic Superpowers of Artificial

Intelligence in Student Performance

Statement of the Problem

General Problem:

The study aims to determine how artificial intelligence affect the academic performance of Grade 11
HUMSS, ABM, TVL, and GAS students at San Jose City National High School – Senior High School.

Specific Problem(s):

1. How does AI help students do better in class?

2. How does using AI in assignments and activities contribute to the student’s academic
performance?
3. How does AI contribute to the study pattern and behaviors of students such as reviewing for a
quiz or an exam? Do they become lazy or become more productive?

Hypothesis

1. The use of AI does not help students do better in class.

2. The use of AI in assignment and activities does not contribute to the student’s academic
performance.
3. AI does not contribute to the study pattern and behaviors of students such as reviewing for a
quiz or an exam.

Conclusion

The findings in the study suggest that, according to the data at hand, the use of AI does not show a
significant impact on student performance. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that this conclusion is
only applicable to the tests and measures employed in the study. Various factors can influence the
effectiveness of AI in enhancing student learning. These factors include the nature of the tasks, the
quality of AI tools, and the instructional context.

Recommendation

To arrive at more comprehensive conclusions regarding the overall impact of AI on student outcomes, it
would be necessary to conduct additional research that considers a wider range of assessments,
subjects, and instructional approaches. Based on the data from this study, it appears that the use of AI
may not have a significant impact on student success, as indicated by the lack of statistical significance in
the results. However, to draw conclusions about all aspects of classroom performance, additional
investigation and careful consideration of various educational variables would be necessary.
