ACTIVITY # 1
The focus of supply chain management is on many industries as major participants in the chain's
lifecycle, including raw material producers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and industry
partners. To flourish in this industry, you must have a symbiotic relationship. However, before going
any further, let's first define supply chain: the interconnected route that raw materials, components,
and items traverse before being assembled and sold to customers. The second goal of supply chain
management is to maintain the efficiency of the supply and demand systems so that people have
access to goods and services. A well-functioning supply chain is essential for maintaining everything
from our nourishment and housing to our modes of employment and entertainment. The ability to
predict how much inventory will be required in the future based on historical patterns and seasonality
is critical to ensuring a positive customer experience. This is the third benefit of supply chain
management in different industries. Now that you have a better understanding of management, we'll
go into more detail about the benefits of having a business plan or extensive knowledge of the supply
chain in your industry. By understanding supply and demand as well as the customers' future needs in
the industry, you can create a solid business plan and capitalize on the global demand of various
industries. Since some products are seasonal, we should manage the supply to last until the following
harvest season. Because supply chain management relationships with different companies are
important and understanding the market is necessary to keep up with local demands and foreign
demands, and because working with different companies is beneficial not only in your business but in
theirs too because you can make money together, and understanding the future forecasting of the
demand you can avoid oversupply you should always check your inventory because if the supply is
greater than the demand prices of the raw materials will be down and the producer of the raw
materials will go bankrupt or will not get their ROI. Additionally, by working with various
businesses, you have the chance to learn more about the industry and meet new people who can help
you grow your company, boost sales, improve product quality, and cut costs associated with
production, distribution, and manufacturing because consumers value high quality at reasonable
prices.
