How Sound is produced
Sound is produced in different ways. The simplest way is when objects hit each other. Sound is also
produced by making vibrations. The sound is transmitted and heard through the force of impact between two
bodies and the vibrations of bodies that cause air molecules around them to vibrate. The vibrating air molecules
as the energy to adjacent air molecules. In each of your ears, we have sensitive membrane called eardrum. The
vibrating air causes the eardrum to vibrate. The small bones- hammer, anvil, and stirrup- then carry the energy
to the brain through the auditory nerve.
Examples:

Clapping of hands- the hands hit each other that they produce sound.

Marbles and billiard balls produce clicks when they collide.

Siren of a firetruck

Animals sounds

Musical Instrument Sounds

Human voice
