Mini Item Creator Guidelines

• Follow the Roblox community rules and the UGC marketplace content
guidelines
• No adult/violent items, no hate speech, avoid items similar to existing items, etc.
• Sell items you have permission to sell
• Don’t make rip-offs of Roblox items, don’t steal concepts from other artists
• Test & check your work before selling
• You cannot update your items once they are created
• 3 strikes and you’re out
• Follow the rules and be a team player and you’ll be fine!
• Ask us questions & give us feedback
• We’re here to help!
Mini Item Creation Process

1. Create item in software of choice


2. Import to Roblox Studio
3. Fit & test the item
4. Save to Roblox as the correct accessory or clothing type
5. Wait up to 24 hours for review
6. Sell it (if approved)
7. ???
8. Profit

Mini Accessory Specs

• Hat, Hair Accessory, Back Accessory, Waist Accessory, Shoulder Accessory, Face
Accessory, Neck Accessory, or Front Accessory
• Max mesh: 1200 verts / 4000 tris
• Max texture: 256x256px PNG
• There are max sizes once fitted to an avatar, different per item type (listed in full
documentation)
• Each item type has required attachment point/s (listed in full documentation)
• Must be plastic
• Cannot be transparent
• Cannot have scripts, particles, etc.

Mini Content Guidelines
• Do not create items that are similar to valuable Roblox items.
• Do not use any Roblox-created assets or official Roblox branding / iconography as part of your
items.
• Do not create items that are political, religious, gory (NO blood), violent (NO realistic weaponry),
self-harm-related, drug-related, sexual/wedding/dating-related, or items that are likely to be used
for these types of roleplay.
• Do not create items that obscure the majority of a player’s avatar, obscure their in-experience
nameplate or bubble chat, could obscure other players’ avatars or in-experience view, or would
otherwise be disruptive to an experience.
• Do not create items that are intentionally the wrong item type, especially items that mimic item
types that are not yet UGC (like heads, bodies, or faces).

Mini Item Sales Guidelines
Rules for you:
• Price limits (in R$) • Marketplace Fee
• Hats: 50-5000 • You get 30%
• Hair: 50-5000 • Seller Fee (could be you!) = 40%
• Face: 15-5000 • Upload Fee
• Shoulder: 15-5000 • One-time, non-refundable, pre-moderation
• Neck: 20-5000 • 750 R$ per item
• Front: 20-5000 • Frequency
• Back: 100-10,000 • Max = 20 new items per calendar month
• Waist: 50-5000

• All 3D clothing: 50-10,000
• 30 period between sale and you getting your
share of the sale

Overview
• We will give you an access to the tools which will allow you to create certain avatar catalog items. These tools will be available only to you and
others who join the program.
• Except as specified in the Program Terms, the catalog items you create will be treated as any other UGC on Roblox platform and Roblox Terms
of Use will apply to the catalog items.
• The catalog items you create will be available for purchase on the Platform. We can’t guarantee that your catalog items will actually be
purchased.
• We may review all or some of the catalog items before you will be able to upload them to the platform, and we may decide in our sole discretion
to prevent you from uploading any catalog item to the platform.
• Keep in mind that we may in our sole discretion remove any catalog item from the platform.
• If the catalog items you create are sold, you may be entitled to the portion of the Robux generated by that sale.
• If for any reason, any of the catalog items you created are removed from the platform, you won’t be entitled to any compensation from us,
except for the payment for sales of the removed catalog item before its removal.
• We require everyone to respect the Community and follow the Terms of Use and these Program Terms. If you fail to do any of that, we reserve
the right in our sole discretion to terminate your participation in the program.
• While we will be happy if you discuss your creation with others, please make sure that the details of the Program Terms are kept confidential.

Payment
You will receive 30% of the Robux generated from the sale of the catalog items created by You. At any time and without earlier notice, we
may change the percentage of Robux generated from the sale that you will receive.

Ownership Rights
a. Subject to the license grant set forth in Section 6(B) of the Terms of Use, you continue to retain all copyrights that you may hold in your
catalog Items.
b. Just to make sure there are no misunderstandings, you do not gain any rights in anything we (or someone else) creates and/ or
distributes on, in, for or with any of your Catalog Items, nor do you gain any rights in the tools.
