I think it’s great that they offer a self-study option for the
students with low budgets.

Our guide includes an overview of the AAT’s qualifications, how they work
and how we deliver them. We encourage you to read this guide thoroughly
before enrolling with us or any other provider – it’s important for you to have
all the pieces of the puzzle in place before you embark on your AAT journey!
• The units within the Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and Level 3 Certificate
in Bookkeeping are identical to those that are included in Level 2 and Level
3 Accounting qualifications (including the exams).
• If you are not sure that the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting is the right course
for you, then please do get in touch with us to chat everything through in
more detail. Additionally, the AAT’s online Skillcheck (search on Google for
AAT Skills checker) will be very helpful in determining the most relevant
starting point for you.

I really feel this is the start of a new career for me and can’t thank
Accountancy Learning enough for all of their help so far.
Since then...
Francesca has completed her AAT (Level 3) Certificate in Bookkeeping (she
achieve the AAT (Level 2) Foundation Certificate in Accounting as well as the
AAT Level 3 Bookkeeping qualification within 8 months), and this is what she
said:
“Thanks so much though for all of your help throughout, as I’ve said to Prue
many times, I’d recommend you guys to anyone who wanted to do a course
like this. I wouldn’t be where I am now without you (Chrissy) & Prue and I’m
so grateful to have achieved everything so much quicker than I ever imagined
when I started.”

Whilst you will be able to study at your own pace, you do need
to be self-motivated (if you think you might need a helping hand,
then one of our experienced, highly qualified personal tutors
can help keep you on track – more about that later).
A very different
experience to many
other online courses I’ve
done – you’re doing a
great job.
Just a quick email to say how much I enjoyed my
course with your organisation and how grateful I
am to your tutor (Pat) who has helped me through.
She was approachable, informative and supportive
throughout.

Self-study or
Tutor Supported?
The package you choose will be
determined by the level of coaching
and tutor support you think you’ll need
to help you successfully complete your
course.
We would be delighted to discuss what might work best for you (generally
based on your prior knowledge and experience). You’ll be pleased to
know that our exceptionally ‘high pass rates’ apply to both our self-study
and tutor supported courses – a good indicator that our initial advice and
guidance is usually ‘spot on’.
Self-Study EXTRA:
Studying via our Self-Study Extra package means that you will have full
access to all of our learning materials. Our resources include Progress
Tests, Practice Assessments and Mock Exams, which you will be
expected to complete during your course. Don’t panic though, as we will provide you
with all the answers so that you can mark your own work.
If you get stuck along the way though e.g. with a topic or study task, the only thing you
will not be able to do, is ask a tutor to help you with it! However, the good news is that
you can upgrade to a tutor supported package at any time, as needed.
Tutor Supported:
Students enrolled on our Tutor Supported package are assigned with
a dedicated personal tutor. Your personal tutor is there to help, guide
and coach you during your course, and… you can contact them as many
times as you like. Your personal tutor will also contact you on a regular
basis to help ensure you keep on track (and nag you if necessary!)
Your personal tutor will also mark and provide feedback on all the Progress Tests and
Practice Assessments you submit to them – this is a vital aspect of the course as it will
help both you and us determine when you are ready to start sitting your exams.
For a full breakdown of costs please see our price list (included in our email to
you).
Tutor Supported packages: you can generally phone and email your tutor Monday to
Thursdays from 9.00am until 8.00pm and until 5.00pm on Fridays. Tutor support during
weekends is available by arrangement.

Well, I thought I’d share some news with you as I’m so pleased to have studied with
you and maybe you could use my story to showcase your excellent courses.
After completing my studies with you and gaining my AAT level 2 & 3 qualifications I
managed to land myself a nice job as a credit controller for New Directions in Cardiff.
After a short time, I was promoted to manager of the credit control department.
Today I’ve heard the news that I’ve been shortlisted for the Finance Wales Awards
2022 in the Rising Star category.
It just goes to show that anything is possible and completing my AAT was my first
step toward my new career.
I wanted to let you all know as I really enjoyed my time studying with you and I’ve
recommended your courses to several friends, one of whom has signed up and has
completed her level 2 already with you!

You will need to sit your exams under invigilated conditions at an AAT
approved assessment venue located nearby to you. Don’t worry though, as
you can sit your exams throughout the year, and you will only sit them when
you are ready to!
There are over 200 assessment venues in the UK, so you should be able to
find one pretty close to you. Here is the link so that you can have a browse
for yourself:
https://www.aat.org.uk/assessment-venues/search.
(Assessment (exam) and administration (invigilation) fees for each exam will be payable directly to
your chosen assessment venue at the time of booking your exam).

Who are
A multi-award winning AAT training
provider, we have been training people
to become bookkeepers and accountants
since 1992.
We’re based in the Southwest and our students are scattered across the whole
of the UK – a huge benefit of distance learning is that it doesn’t matter where
you are located!
Our AAT pass rates are exceptionally high, as are our course
completion rates – just two of the reasons why we were hugely
proud to have won 2019’s AAT Distance Learning Training
Provider of the Year award:
We know that enrolling onto a new course can be a big decision to make,
however, we do have an extremely well qualified and experienced team
here, many of whom have completed AAT themselves. That, along with all of
our unique learning materials and personalised support, should re-assure
you that you really will be in safe hands with us.
