Documentation of Claims:
To enable claims to be dealt with promptly, the Assured or their Agents are advised to submit all available supporting documents without delay to Anova Marine or Survey Agents if
appointed including when applicable:1 Original policy or certificate of insurance. 2 Original or Copy shipping invoices, together with shipping specification and/or weight notes. 3.
Original Bill of Lading and/or other contract of carriage. (Full set in the event of total loss.) 4 Survey report or other documetnary evidence to show the extent of the loss or damage. 5
Landing account and weight notes at final dsstination. 6 Correspondence exchanged with the Carriers and other Parties regarding their liability for the loss or damage.

Duties of the Insured


It is the duty of the Assured and their Agents, in all cases, to take such measures as may be reasonable for the purpose of averting or minimising a loss and to ensure that all rights against Carriers,
Bailees, or other third parties are properly preserved and exercised. In particular, the Assured or their Agents are required:
1. To claim immediately on the Carriers, Port Authorities, or other Bailees for any missing packages. 2. In no circumstances, except under written protest, to give clean receipts where goods are in
doubtful condition. 3. When delivery is made by Container, to ensure that the Container and its seals are examined immediately by their responsible official. If the Container is delivered damaged or
with seals broken or missing or with seals other than as stated in the shipping documents, to clause the delivery receipt accordingly and retain all defective or irregular seals for subsequent
identification. 4. To apply immeidately for survey by Carriers' or toher Bailees' Representatives if any loss or damage be apparent and claim on the Carriers or other Bailees for any actual loss or
damage found at such survey. 5. To give notice in writing to the Carriers or other Bailees within 3 days of delivery if the loss or damage was not apparent at the time of taking delivery. NOTE: The
Consignees or other Agents are recommended to make themselves familiar with the Regulations of the Port Authorities at the port of discharge.

Commodity Selection Agreement:


It is agreed and understood that neither Anova Marine nor the insurer shall be held responsible for the improper selection of commodity or goods type, and that any improper selection does not
comply with the conditions of cover. It is the duty of the assured and/or their shipping agent procuring this insurance to select the appropriate goods type so that the proper conditions of insurance
exist or no cover deemed to be in force.

Forms of Cover (Endorsed on front of certificate):


1. Institute Cargo Clauses (2009) to apply in the form endorsed on the front of this certificate (ICC-A, ICC-B, or ICC-C). In addition, ICC PLUS terms apply to coverage granted under ICC-A 2009
conditions as listed below as section 4.3.1, and
8.1.4, and Total Loss Plus shall be construed as ICC-B terms as described below on a total loss basis only.
1.1 Full Cover ICC-A PLUS (All Risks): Coverage is granted under Institute Cargo Clauses A (ICC-A), Version 2009. Additionally, the following ICC-A 2009 clauses have been supplemented:
Additional to ICC-A (2009) Section 8.1, the following ICC PLUS Language also applies as section 8.1.4 in supplement:
8.1.4 Intermediate Storage - Intermediate storage during the normal course of transportation to be covered for a maximum of 60 days.
1.2 TOTAL LOSS PLUS ICC-B (Total Loss basis): Total Loss Cover only. The insurance covers under Institute Cargo Clauses B Version 2009, however coverage is limited by the following terms:
Coverage is granted on a TOTAL LOSS BASIS ONLY, coverage is limited to damages resulting from risks covered by ICC-B (2009) that result in the TOTAL LOSS of the goods, or alternatively are
considered by underwriters to be a CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS.
1.3 TOTAL LOSS ICC-C (Total Loss Basis) - Institute Cargo Clauses C Version 2009 to apply on a TOTAL LOSS BASIS ONLY, coverage is limited to damages resulting from risks covered by ICC-
C (2009) that result in the TOTAL LOSS of the goods, or alternatively are considered by underwriters to be a CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS.

investigations within two weeks, they will send you a full written response as soon as they can, and in any eventwithin four weeks of receipt of your complaint. If you are not satisfied with Chaucers
