VISION:

VYOM is the result of few friends professionally well placed

who are passionate to take initiatives to bring in few changes in
our society with focus on underprivileged and disable children,
health, education, women and girl empowerment, protect
environment and corporate social responsibility and
Volunteerism.

MISSION:

Our mission is to actively serve the people of Baroda by building

permanent charitable capital and providing services that
contribute to the health, education, women and girl
empowerment, protect environment and mobilize activities as
corporate social responsibility and building peacefully
communities in and around the city.
INTRODUCTION:
VYOM is the brain-child of a few passionate people who have
emerged torchbearers for change in our society. They focus on
underprivileged and disabled children, health and sanitation,
education, female empowerment and protection of the
environment through active volunteerism. We visualize a world
where every child attains their right to education and a sense of
safety. We also wish to transform communities by educating
and inspiring people throughout our city to open their minds
and talk more about topics like mental health so that the
centuries-old stigma around it can be destroyed.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF VYOM:

EDUCATION
VYOM works at the grassroots level to help underprivileged
children access quality education. VYOM believes that every
child should receive the opportunity to build a better future by
acquiring education irrespective of their social and economic
backgrounds. VYOM is committed to providing basic education
to children. We have undertaken several initiatives to ensure
quality education to contribute to the overall cognitive
development of children.

MAIN PROJECTS OF THE YEAR
PNP [paida ni pathshala]

School on wheels is an intergrated approach towards

improving the quality of education for underprivileged
children both at npss schools and in the slum coomunities.
The project has been implemented in all NPSS schools of
Vadodara city. The key component of the project is a
vehicle designed as a mobile classroom to provide
additional educational facilities. Through this innovative
concept we attempt to reach children of municipal school.
This mobile van is well equipped with the educational
material like black board, books, reading and pictorial aids,
audio visual aids, laboratory, outdoor and board games,
library, computers, etc. On the creative front, there are a
number of activities that have already been conducted
with the children like rope art, flower making, quilling art,
warli art etc.We also display exhibitors on a particular
topic. Kids of different schools showed extreme
attentiveness and excitement for these activities.
Aarambh

It is unique because the physically challenged will get to work

with designers and we want Aarambh to be a brand in
coming years where it could be managed and sustain by the
differently abled.

Muskurahat

VYOM celebrates children's day as MUSKURAHAT.. The

event involved a number of cultural activities like singing,
 dancing, magic show, ek min games, bags of gift &
goodies, foods and snacks etc. The event specially meant
for the children studying in street schools, living in slums,
living under the bridges helped the kids in just being
themselves and have an opportunity to have fun with out
fear, Various organizations participate with their
associated children and encouraged children in stage
performance too.

WORKING ASPECTS OF VYOM

- To strengthen the disable community in various locations

and make them self sustainable by improving their skill set
and impact the quality of life they live.
- As an organization, should not only uphold the
empowerment of women but also the awareness on their
potential strength and their rights in our country.
- As an organization would like to represents recreational
activities in a safe and clean environment for
underprivileged children from all caste, region or race.
- To promote good governance at every level of its activities,
practice and implement same among the associates to
build trust and credibility of the organisation.
- To develop a mindset at board level, this not only supports
the broad vision of the organization but also will strive for
excellence and innovation
