STANDARD GUIDELINES/REQUIREMENTS FOR DELIVERY OF EX AND
PLATES
• 1. OPEN A NEW DRAWING
• 1.1 On the Command Window Type: LOGFILEON

• 2. OPEN UPLOADED TITLE BLOCK AND COPY AND PASTE IT ON THE NEW DRAWING. THEN SAVE using the
filename of the Activity.
• 3. ILLUSTRATE /PLOT THE GIVEN FIGURE (PEDIT Lines –Join lines that are needed to be joined)

• 4. ASSIGN LAYERS AND PROPERTIES

• 5. EDIT DIMENSION AND TEXT

• 6. TYPE COMMAND: Z (ZOOM) enter E (EXTENTS) enter

• 7. CONVERT DRAWING FILE TO PDF

• 8. Open the Folder where you save your Logfile of the current activity upload a copy.

• 9. Upload a copy of the drawing file of the activity

1. Autocad Drawing File
Filename: SURNAME_ACTIVITY NO___ (Ex. Dela Cruz_2D-EX6 to 2D-EX8.dwg)
2. Conversion of Drawing to PDF File
Filename: SURNAME_ACTIVITY NO___ (Ex. Dela Cruz_ 2D-EX6 to 2D-EX8.pdf)
3. Complete History Command in PDF format (Consisting of the process and command used on the
activity – Upload a copy of the History saved under your LOGFILE Folder)
Filename: SURNAME_HISTLOGFILE ACTIVITY NO___ (Ex. Dela Cruz_HISTLOGFILE EX6toEX8.pdf)

UPLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:
• Upload all requirements, Autocad Drawing File, Conversion of Drawing to PDF File,
and Complete History Logfile (items no. 1, 2 & 3) in the assignment link under week
4. Kindly double-check if your uploads are successful.
• Take note that if you didn’t submit files on blackboard’s assignment link, you will
not receive any grades for your activity.
• Files sent via course message, e-mail, personal message, or saved in another
SharePoint link won’t be acknowledged.
