Why Colloidal Silver?

 EFFECTIVENESS
Colloidal silver is Nature's antibiotic. Silver has been reported as a water purifier and as healing
wounds and burns and preventing infection from ancient times. In modern times, colloidal silver is
reported to have an antimicrobial effect against more than 650 different organisms, including
bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi, protozoans and yeasts. It is recently reported to be effective in fighting
MRSA the "flesh eating disease" caused by one of the new antibiotic-resistant "superbugs" as well as
hemorrhagic fevers, such as Ebola, and other widespread viruses, like HPV’s and Hep C.
The U.S. FDA has approved over 130 products that incorporate silver for its antimicrobial effect.
Colloidal silver, specifically, electro-chemically produced colloidal silver, is composed of sub-
microscopic multi-atom nanoparticles of silver having numerous electrical charges, suspended in
distilled water, which greatly enhances its anti-microbial properties.
Unlike modern antibiotics and anti-viral medications, microorganisms have not demonstrated
increasing resistance to silver or colloidal silver.
Colloidal silver has been reported to accelerate healing of the body, especially burns, infections
and soft tissue damage (muscle and cartilage).
 SAFETY
Colloidal silver has no known toxic effects on the human body. The only known side effect is a
cosmetic condition called Argyria, where the skin takes on a blue-gray color. This is due to ingesting
colloidal silver with food, such that silver chloride is produced from stomach acid (hydrochloric acid).
Silver chloride is a chemical compound found in photographic emulsions and when it migrates to the
skin it chemically bonds to the sub-cutaneous fat when light strikes it. Argyria is absolutely
preventable by ingesting colloidal silver on an empty stomach. Friendly intestinal flora are also
protected by taking colloidal silver internally only on an empty stomach.
Another indication of the safety of silver is that for decades in the 48 states in the US it was law to
put a few drops of 1% silver nitrate solution into newborn infant’s eyes to prevent blindness due to
gonorrhea bacteria. A 1% solution is 10,000 parts per million! Compare that to 5 ppm to 40 ppm
when colloidal silver is used.
Colloidal silver is not addictive, nor does the body build a “tolerance” to it, so overuse is avoided.
No adverse reaction has been reported when using colloidal silver with other medications, but it is
prudent take colloidal silver and medications at separate times.
 COST
Unlike modern medications, colloidal silver is very inexpensive to produce. The two 6-inch 14 gauge
silver wire included with a LifeForce Devices colloidal silver generator can make about 75 gallons of
15 ppm colloidal silver. Generating 32 oz. per day of 15 ppm (parts per million) it would take about
one year to consume the two electrodes.
 PREVENTION
Colloidal silver is best as a preventive measure, as daily consumption maintains silver in the body at a
level where it is available to add to the body’s natural immune response and healing mechanisms.
However, testimonials indicate that a quantity of 4 times the nutritional amount can be taken for
extended periods and higher concentrations can be used topically.
