Situation: The M1205A product line is about to release the new V24E monitor with a Arctic
White front bezel and keypad that uses a low-cost Philips color flat screen display. Also being
released is touch screen hardware for both the C and CT monitors. The new V24E monitor will
not be offered with touch screen capabilities. It is for these reasons that the current Replacement
Parts Tables contain in M1205A Quick Reference Guide and M1205A Service Guide need
updating.

existing ones until the M1205A Quick Reference Guide p/n M1204-9312L and the M1205A
Service Guide p/n M1205-9303L get revise. The plan is to release the Touch Screen software
and the new version of the manuals in Q4, 2002.

All information contained in this Service Note can be shared with customers.
