1.In academic terms, a text is anything that conveys a set of


meanings to the person who examines it.
In literary theory, a text is any object that can be "read", whether
this object is a work of literature, a street sign, an arrangement
of buildings on a city block, or styles of clothing.
Summary a text is the original words and form of a written or
printed work that convey a set of meaning in order to be read

2. Factual texts inform, instruct or persuade by giving facts and


information.
Literary texts entertain or elicit an emotional response by using
language to create mental images.

While Spoken Descriptive text usually someone read the text
about a certain topic while we just pay attention to that person.
