NARRATIVE ( JANUARY 26,2024 )


The third day of the In- Service Training was led by the Grade Two and Grade Three advisers.
The day’s session started with Makabayan Song and Invocation led by Mrs. Loida A. Albano. It
was followed by the checking of attendance for every grade which was facilitated by Grade 3 adviser
Mrs. Judith C. Siclot. Then to set the mood of the day the group prepared an energizer.
The first speaker is a principal I, Mr. Reynaldo D. Jore . He talks about the Evaluation on the
Schools Progress. The school has actively engage with parents and the wider community. Regular
communication channels, parent-teacher meetings, and community involvement programs have
strengthened the school’s relationship with its stakeholders. This collaborative approach has created a
supportive network that contributes to the overall success of the school.
The next speaker is a Teacher I, Mrs. Geraldine Lovis L. Patindol. She talks about the
implementation of Catch-Up Fridays. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 001 Series of 2024, Catch Up Fridays
commenced on January 12, 2024, with an orientation session followed by the inaugural day of activities.
The program aims to provide additional support and learning opportunities for students who may have
encountered challenges during the previous academic year, ensuring that they are equipped with the
necessary skills to succeed. Similarly, to bolster the basic education priorities articulated in the
MATATAG Agenda and accelerate the achievement of education targets as stipulated in DepEd Order
(DO) No. 013, s. 2023 titled Adoption of the National Learning Recovery Program (NLRP), there is a
need to intensify Values, Health, and Peace Education.
In addition to Mrs. Patindol shared that this Project BASA (Building Achievement in Reading
Skills and Abilities) is an opportunity not just to empower students to read proficiently, but also to help
them develop a broader understanding of the values that underpin a just and peaceful society.
With a collective effort and strong teamwork, the group successfully executed the action plan.
Each member played a vital role in contributing their skills and expertise, ensuring that every task was
completed with precision and efficiency.
The training for the day ended at five o’clock in the afternoon.
