Article 1

This Standard is prescribed in accordance with the provisions of Article 15 of the Act
Governing Food Safety and Sanitation.
Article 2
The examination of veterinary drug residues referred in this Standard shall be marker
residue, including the drug itself and its significant relevant metabolities.
Article 3
The veterinary drug residue limits in foods shall meet the following Table. Veterinary
drugs not listed in the Table shall not be detected. For those listed veterinary drugs not
permitted to be used by Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan in the Republic of China
shall only apply to the imported products.

Note 1：The maximum residue limit unit of milk is mg/L.
Note 2：Oxytetracycline only.
Note 3：The species of fish, decapod, testudines and anura in this standard indicate the aquatic animals that
list in the Guidelines on veterinary drugs of aquatic animals, Veterinary Drugs Control Act
established by Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan. The livestock and poultry in this standard
shall mean the animals defined in the Animal Industry Act, established by Council of Agriculture,
Executive Yuan.
Note 4：The combined of residues of Sulfadimethoxine and Sulfamonomethoxine should not exceed
0.1 ppm。
Note 5：The residue limits of the edible offal in animal besides liver and kidney that have been established
in this standard shall be applicable to the following principles:
(1) If the residue limits of liver and kidney were at the same level, the residue limits for the rest of
the edible offal shall be applicable to the same standard.
(2) If the residue limits of liver and kidney were different, the lower level of which shall be applied
to the residue limits for the rest of the edible offal.
Note 6: According to Paragraph 4 of Article 15 of the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation
"Beta-agonists shall not to be detected via tests in domestic and foreign meat products and other
meat-related products, with the exception that the central competent authority may set a
permissible tolerance of Beta-agonists after assessing risks in accordance to the citizens’ diet
habits." After conducting a risk assessment based on the results of the the citizens’ diet habits and
considering the individual differences of special ethnic groups, the residue limits of Ractopamine
in this Standard is amended based on scientific evidence and in coordination with the regulation
announced by No.1091472241 on 7 September, 2020 by the Council of Agriculture Executive
Yuan.
