Activity 2: Module 8

I may liken my life to a broken pencil since it is chaotic, I come from a

crumbled family, I experience a lot of difficulties and I often suffer
because of life's awfulness and obstacles.

I realize that I am sharpening myself. It's never simple to give up

leisure and relaxation time when you're in that situation. I learned a
lot from that experience, and I will always be grateful for it because
it has improved my understanding and discipline. It fuels my desire
to study more and advance, to work more, and make a bigger
impact on the world.
I can't do anything without a helping hand, and to pull beautiful things into my
life, I required the guidance of my parents, teachers, coaches, and mentors. They
have helped me along the road as I continue to fulfill the purpose that God has for
me. They have been sent by God to assist me in realizing my full potential and to
understand why God created me. Through them, God led me, and His desire for
my life would always be fulfilled.

Even with an eraser, we can never entirely forget our mistakes because a
mark always remains on the paper. In order to move on from our mistakes,
all we need to do is keep writing our tale. As we continue to write our
stories, we cannot escape making mistakes throughout our path.
The whole pencil in this image represents the true beauty that God has
gracefully and individually carved within each of us. Accepting who we are in
Christ is the only way for us to realize and shape our entire potential. We should
love ourselves and view ourselves as God sees us because God loves us so much
despite our flaws, wounds, shame, and guilt. We should constantly remind
ourselves that we are highly blessed, capable, and deserving children of God.
