PM module Integration with other Modules:

1. SAP PM – MM Integration:
• For non stock materials requirement, purchase requisition can be created
from the plant maintenance order. PR is converted to the Purchase order.
when ever goods receipt is done , the cost is directly booked to the plant
maintenance order.

• For stock materials requirement, reservation can be created from the

plant maintenance order and the material can be issued to the order
against the reservation. Like materials , for services also PRs can be
created from the plant maintenance order.

• With Equipment BOM, you can create a list of material through which
equipment is created or in other words you can mention the spares that
you may require during the maintenance of the equipment.

• Reservations and Goods Issue for Maintenance Order

• Material valuation class/types for refurbishment materials as equipment

• Triggering PR from Maintenance Order

2. SAP PM – FICO Integration:
• Activity based costing for calculation of labor cost for a work order.

• Work order settlement- Settlement profile.

• Cost analysis reporting.

• PR creation from work order- Accounting data for external

procurement, service master record etc.

• Material valuation class, valuation type for refurbishment process.

• Moving average price for material during goods issue.

• Material Master record for batch managed material.

3. SAP PM - QM Integration:
• SAP PM mainly integrated in Calibration order, Inspection lot, task list
QM data--300 inspection point, MIC, result recording , Usage Decision ,
in configuration we maintain Inspection type 14.

4. SAP PM - HR Integration:
• In work center SAP PM integrated with HR module. In HRMS assignment
we assign--Position, person, profile we can assign/link the employees

5. SAP PM – PP Integration:

• In Equipment under location tab, Work center is one of the integration

point and system availability in order and task list.

Example: When a machine is under maintenance, how a production

person will get information?, or when a machine is taken for Preventive
maintenance, who will the PP person get message while he is planning
for production.
