Directions:

In this test you will select from three writing tasks. Choose the one that you feel you are most capable to
write about. You will then begin writing your essay on the pages provided. When you are finished close
your papers, lay down your pen and wait for us to collect your test materials.

1. Inspiration comes from everywhere: nature, traveling, books, art, people on the
street. Everyone has his own sources of the state for motivation, creativity and hard
work.
 Have you ever got inspired?
 Where did you take the inspiration from?
 What did you create or generate being inspired?

2. They say: Great things never came from comfort zones.

 How would you paraphrase (explain) the statement?
 What are the greatest challenges you have ever faced?
 Why do we accept challenges in our life?
 What age is the most challenging in life?

3. There is a huge number of animal adoption centers and animal rescue organizations
all over the world, and Ukraine is not an exception.
 Why is it crucial to set up such centers?
 Have you / has a person you know ever adopted a pet? Share this experience.
 What would you recommend a person who is going to shelter a homeless pet?
