Can physical activity be done in a simple way? If yes how?

Physical activity refers to a body movement that requires energy expenditure, producing a physiological
response. But it doesn’t mean that an individual should have to do hard exercises in order for them to
gain the benefits of physical activity. In fact, there’s a lot of easy workouts that can still do even when
you’re at home or outdoors, whichever is better or more convenient. Here are some ideas:

1. Walking – Enjoy a 30-minute walking workout and count it as your daily exercise. Walk slowly for five
minutes, pick up your pace for 20 minutes, then cool down and walk slowly again for five minutes

2. Climbing stairs – Take 10 minutes out of your day and walk up and down a flight of steps. If you don’t
have a staircase available, use a step or platform

3.Bodyweight exercises – you can do exercises like squats, lunges, push-ups, and planks at home without
any special equipment. These exercises engage multiple muscle groups.

4. Dancing – Put on some music and dance for 15 to 30 minutes. No choreography is necessary; the
important thing is to move to the music

5.Household chores – Activities like vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping can contribute to your daily
physical activity.

6.Stretching – Incorporate simple stretching exercises into your routine to improve flexibility and reduce
muscle tension.

7. Playing with your pets – if you have a dog, play fetch or take them for a walk. It benefits both you and
your pet.

8. Gardening – If you like to spend time in your yard, this is a great way to work your muscles and burn
calories. Digging, weeding, raking, and mowing are all good sources of activity
