RULES

RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED AT ALL TIMES

1. NOBODY IS TO USE THE LORD’S NAME IN VAIN

2. No illegal substances allowed on the premises i.e. alcohol, cocaine, dagga...If

caught with illegal substances, the police will be called and YOU WILL be
arrested. Any visitor under the influence any any mind altering substance
will be told to leave. Regardless of their reason for being there. Refusal will
result in removal by SAPS.

3. No talking about drug abuse or referring to your past when you were still using
unless it is in a group discussion or N/A meetings

4. If you are still in your first 6 weeks, you will not be allowed any visitors. Only
after you have completed your first 6 weeks of evaluation you will be allowed
to have visitors. Only those appointed by the mother / father / legal guardian
will be allowed to visit.

5. No cell phones or technology allowed. You will be allowed to receive 2 monitored

phone calls a week to those listed in the admittance form. Not during the first six
weeks.

6. No phone calls during working hours, N/A meetings and any spiritual times

7. No pornography or unsuitable reading matter allowed

8. No fighting on the farm

9. No weapons allowed or any object that can be used as one

10. No theft or even suspicion of theft will be tolerated, if found stealing the
police will be called and you WILL be arrested

11. No cash will be allowed, all money must be handed in

12. No lying or loafing around – the farm is busy there is always work,

13 No patient may raise their voice or hands or blaspheme at any other

patient or leader at any time. Disagreements must be dealt with by
engaging with each other in dialogue in the presence of a councellor.

14. Respect yourself by keeping yourself, your living quarters and the
farm in general in a clean condition
15. All medication to be handed in

16. During your programme at Break Free you will not be allowed to leave the
farm for a weekend or a day out. We have found this to be disruptive to the
extreme to the programme.

17. Nobody is to leave the premises at ANY time not even to go for a
walk the farm is big enough. You will be advised of your boundaries. IF YOU
LEAVE THE FARM IT MAY BE CONSTRUED AS “HAVING LEFT”.
You will may not be allowed Back and will be tested.

18. No photographs of residents allowed, only with consent of a leader. This is

to respect the identity of other residents.

19. No relationships between Residents as set out in the admission document.

20. BULLYING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. EVERY ACTION HAS A

CONSEQUENCE

Everybody must obey the stipulated rules at all times. Anybody who fails to comply
with these rules may be asked to leave the programme.
