In supporting the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar to achieve educational vision in particular


enabling girls and boys, women and men and all learners, to realize their rights and potential in and
through education, support provided to the Ministry of Zanzibar to assess the implementation and efficacy
of re-entry policy of pregnancy girls in Zanzibar. The assessment provide evidence and platform for policy
dialogues, which is key for policy review, improving and reinforcing implementation includes on removing
barrier or challenges facing girls once they attempt to go back to schools. Furthermore, the capacity of the
MoEVT Zanzibar to monitor sector wide response to HIV, SRH and GBV has improved following integration of
key indicators related to HIV and CSE in to the EMIS tools/database and training of Education Management
Information System staff.
