The Cask of Amontillado

Explanation:

Edgar Allan Poe's famous short story is about two characters who are somewhat connected with
a sherry wine called Amontillado. One of the character in my drawing is wearing a jester hat
which symbolizes the mockery in which he will encounter in the end of the short story. The colors
generally used in my drawing is dark and murky to symbolize the dark genre of the story and to
symbolize mystery and sophistication. The wine glass is clamped by chains because it shows how
one of the two characters will meet one’s fate.
