Joining related Questions


1) I have got a Joining letter that states that I must report to the Joining location for the purpose of
joining, does this mean that I have to physically report to office?
A: Yes, you need to physically report to the office for the joining.

2) What should I do If I need to reschedule my joining?


A: You can write to xplore.support@tcs.com (with reason and supporting documents) and update
your joining status in the joining confirmation survey. Rescheduling is allowed only for genuine
medical issues.

3) I have completed all my exams, but the results are not declared yet, can I join?

A) No, You should request for a reschedule if results are not declared. All semester
marksheets are mandatory to submit as part of BGC.

4) My course/examinations are not yet completed, can I join?


A. No, you should request for a reschedule if exams/course not completed. You can write to
xplore.support@tcs.com (with reason and supporting documents) and update your joining
status in the joining confirmation survey. Please be assured that you will get another date
of joining once your exams are completed.

5) Where should I submit the Service Agreement & signed copy of Offer letter?
A) You must carry Service Agreement & signed copy of offer letter while reporting to office on
your date of joining and submit it to your Onboarding manager.

6) Where should I upload Onboarding Forms (Form 2, Form F, Form 9) ?


A) You must upload Onboarding Forms (Form 2, Form F, Form 9) in the ION Course batch:

7) I am not able to get an NSR e-Card as I do not have POS in my hometown, and I am not able to
travel for the same. What can I do?

A) You can complete the online Registration and upload the Acknowledgement slip

8) If I reschedule, will my location change?


A) Your location may change according to the business requirement at the time of your
onboarding.
9) Will I get a change of location if I request for one?
A) No, Location is mapped according to the business requirements of the organization and cannot
be changed

10) What is the format of course completion letter/Bonafide Letter (For Exams Completed
candidates)?

Course Completion Certificate/ Bonafide letter (from Director, Controller of Examinations or Head
of Placement Office - TPO) should be submitted by those candidates’ who have attempted all exams
and results published.

Course Completion Certificate/Bonafide Letter should contain:


1. The name and roll number of the candidate.
2. That all exams (including Viva, Labs, Supplementary/Pending backlogs) have been
attempted
3. Percentage or CGPA till final semester
4. All backlog details to be mentioned (If result pending)

For Exams Pending candidates:

If exams are pending, you are requested to reschedule your date of joining by emailing
xplore.support@tcs.com
