II. Session Outline
Session Title: "Maintaining Good Relationship"
Session At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
Objectives: a) Identify ways in maintaining good relationships;
b) Relate responsibilities in relationships by understanding consumer
health; and
c) Reflect on the responsibilities of a consumer.
Key Concepts: - The importance of being a responsible consumer makes a good
relationship. You just need to understand the components of
consumer health
- Healthy relationships are commonly based on:
➢ Respect
➢ Trust
➢ Open communication
➢ Honesty
➢ Understanding
➢ Care
➢ Emotional support

A. Introduction

Activity: Guess What!
Materials: picture cards
 Arrange the class. Ensure all learners can see the
picture cards of health products used by health
care providers.
 Explain the rules. Focus on the different health
care product and services.
 Learners will give the name of health care provider
Concept Exploration 20 mins that uses the health product on the picture card.
 Ask them to identify key responsibilities of the
health care provider.
 Integrate being a responsible consumer
metaphorically by relating each responsibility to a
specific component of consumer heath,
highlighting the importance of each health product
and services in maintaining a strong relationship
foundation.
C. Valuing 10 mins - The importance of being a responsible consumer is like
having good relationship just need to use the appropriate
health product or services for a particular need.

Activity: Journal Entry
• Ask students to write a journal entry reflecting on a
personal relationship and how they can apply the
Journal Writing 15 mins concept of responsibilities discussed in class.
• Encourage them to draw parallels between maintaining
healthy relationships and the importance of consumer
health.
