Intended audience
This guide is intended for system administrators and consultants who are responsible for
implementing or updating Infor LN. This document contains information about the supported
operating systems and databases.

General Policies
1 Infor will not provide extended support when the 3rd party vendor has stopped standard support.
Infor may also decide to stop support of a platform, operating system or database before the 3rd
party vendor has stopped standard support if Infor deems there is no longer a market for that
solution with our customers.
2 The 3rd party vendor is responsible for maintaining compatibility between different service packs.
The matrix only mentions the main version, but no subsequent service packs. Only if a specific
service pack is required by Infor, this version is mentioned in the support matrix. If problems
occur because of applying a service pack of an OS or database, the vendor of that SP is
responsible for fixing the compatibility issue(s).
3 Porting set fixes will only be delivered on the latest porting set. Not on earlier porting sets.
4 Platform combinations that are not mentioned in the matrix are not supported.
5 Only 64-bit platforms are supported.
6 As of 1-Feb-2013 Infor no longer provides fixes for the 6.1 porting sets; 6.1c.19 was the last
release.
7 Unicode is only supported for Infor LN.
IBM
On April 30, 2017, IBM will withdraw support for AIX 6.1. Infor recommends customers to upgrade to
a later version.
Oracle
In Jan, 2015, Oracle withdrew standard support for Oracle 11.2. As Oracle provides 1 year free
extended support Infor will also follow this one year. This will end Jan 2016. Check the Oracle site
for the conditions on this. Infor recommends customers to upgrade to a later version.
Infor
For Baan 5.0b/ 5.0c, Infor does not commit to certifying newer DB2 versions on the Solaris platform,
or newer Solaris versions in combination with DB2.
As of LN 10.4, the support for Infor LN Worktop has stopped. From LN 10.4 onwards, LN UI is
mandatory. See Infor Xtreme KB 1460896. Older Feature Packs of LN are still supported in
combination with Worktop. If you have questions, contact Infor Xtreme support.
