Locate the website of the U.S. embassy in your country by visiting www.usembassy.gov.You will
get appropriate instructions on making a Visa Appointment from the U.S. embassy in your
country. A payment of $350 Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SIVES) fee for F

You must obtain a letter of acceptance. Students who chose to study in Quebec must apply and
be awarded a letter of acceptance from the government of Quebec known as CAQ. The CAQ can
be printed online or requested on paper from the University.
Get a Canadian Visa Application Package

The Canadian visa package is applied for online through Citizenship and Immigration Canada
(CIC) website. You can also visit a local visa o ce or the Canadian embassy in your home
country.
Note: If you are from a designated country, you may have to obtain a temporary residence
permit
On the website, you will have to answer some questions. The questions will determine if you
are eligible for the Visa and the documents that would be required.
Receive a Personal Checklist code

If you are eligible, you will receive a personal checklist code. The code will be valid for 60days.

containing the code will also contain tuition fee, application guide, list of needed documents,

Open a CIC account, and enter your checklist code. After which you can upload all your
documents.
Send Application to CIC

Once the Application form is ready, and fees have been paid, submit your application to CIC.
