lead us a prayer.

Good morning class! Good morning ma’am!

Before you take your seats, kindly pick up those

pieces of paper under your chairs.

Attendance secretary, is there any absent today? None ma’am.

2. Be productive and do our exercises.
3. Be prepared.
4. Be respectful to your classmates and teacher.

A. ACTIVITY:

Before we properly start with our lesson, we will

Let us divide the class into two groups.

This game is named “Name it to Win it”.

Mechanics:

throughout the PowerPoint.
2. Combine the given images or symbols to form a
word.
3.Given the time limit, the group with the most
formed words using the images and clues wins.

I have here two sets of categories. Your group will

choose one category, from which you will later
form a word, given the category.

Select one representative from your group to

choose your category.

The group that have the most number of points

will be the winner and get additional points.
Are you ready?

The first group to play is the one who gets the tool
category, and the second group to play gets the
ingredient category. Yes ma’am!

(show the game)

Did you enjoy the game?

Actually, the words you have formed in our game

have something to do with our lesson today,
which is preparing sandwiches.

B. ANALYSIS

So this morning we are going to prepare a

sandwich, specifically the club house sandwich.

In your science subject you learned about the

layers of the earth right?

The earth is made up of three different layers: the

crust, the mantle and the core.
The crust is the outside layer of the earth and is
made of solid rock, mostly basalt and granite.
The mantle lies below the crust and is up to 2900
km thick. It consists of hot, dense, iron, and
magnesium- rich solid rock.
The core is the center of the earth and is made up
of two parts: the liquid outer core and solid inner
core.

And I know that you have learned from your

science class the things that we should do to take
care of our planet earth.

The clubhouse sandwich that we shall be doing is

composed of the three layers of slices of bread,
the spread and filling.

But before we prepare the recipe we should do the

‘mise en place’ standards. When we say ‘mise en
place’ what is it all about?
