1. PURPOSE

This procedure covers incoming material control and testing activities for the production.

4. METHOD

4.1. General

• The necessary controls and tests are carried out as specified in the control plan to verify that
the conditions specified for the product have been met.

• Controls and tests to verify that the requirements for each product are fulfilled are detailed in
the control plans.

4.2. Incoming Material Control and Tests

• It is a principle that the incoming materials are not used or not processed until they are
checked.

• Incoming material control is the first operation of the control plan and is performed as
specified in the project control plan and related specifications.

• Technical acceptance of materials are carried out by measuring of dimensions, quantity,


quality of materials, surface conditions and material certificates.

• The technical acceptance of the materials to be used in production shall be performed by the
authorized quality control personnel.

• The incoming materials are taken to the defined control area in the factory.

• If the materials have not been checked yet, the Control Waiting Label is attach on the
materials.

• The Incoming Material Quality Control Label is attached, indicating that the materials are
checked and the result of the inspection (acceptance, rejection, conditional acceptance).

There are three types of decisions:

Acceptance of the material: The material meets all of the required requirements; is checked out.

Rejection of material: The material does not meet the requirements; the supplier is informed and
materials are returned to the supplier.

Conditional acceptance of the material: In case of differences in material quantities or if the


certificate does not come with the material, the materials are considered conditional.
In this case, the supplier is alerted by the logistics department.

• All Material certificates are filed by quality control personnel.
