Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine,

and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his


hand. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. And he that shall swear by
heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. Or if it be known that the ox hath used to push in time past, and his owner
hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own. And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye,
loosing the colt? [It shall be] for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the
children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray. But the chief captain Lysias came [upon us], and with great violence took [him] away out
of our hands, Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse
him. And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end [shall be]. That
which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the
Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father,
and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our
fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee
desolate, a land not inhabited. 1And the chapiters upon the two pillars [had pomegranates] also above, over against the belly which [was] by the
network: and the pomegranates [were] two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter. [There is] no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. I
chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one [that] comforteth the mourners. And it came to pass, when he had made an
end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. As a man in the land
of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Brethren, pray for us. And whatsoever
shall seem good to thee, and to thy brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God. The word of the
LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza. Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up
for himself a pillar, which [is] in the king’s dale: for he said, I have no son to keep my name in remembrance: and he called the pillar after his
own name: and it is called unto this day, Absalom’s place. And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed [themselves] unto the sea, and
loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore. Within two full years will I bring again into this place all
the vessels of the LORD’S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon: And I will bring again
to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break
the yoke of the king of Babylon. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that
all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that
believeth. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. Thus saith the
king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you. Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so
doing. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness:
and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high. For all flesh [is] as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. Therefore [is]
wrath upon thee from before the LORD. For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. A Song of
degrees of David. But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. And I looked, and [there was] none to help; and I wondered that [there
was] none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. For she [had] said unto the servant, What man [is]
this that walketh in the field to meet us? But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare
unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death; also what the king said unto thee: Then thou
shalt say unto them, I presented my supplication before the king, that he would not cause me to return to Jonathan’s house, to die there. In his
days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this [is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. LORD, bow
down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.
Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes. And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years,
and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. Cease ye from man, whose breath [is] in his nostrils: for wherein is he to
be accounted of? And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon [was] fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the

creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. But in those days,
after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that
are in heaven shall be shaken. But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered
a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 1And the king sent and
called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not make thee to swear by the LORD, and protested unto thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the day thou
goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surely die? And we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly
know that he would say, Bring your brother down? Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat [them] small, and shalt make the
hills as chaff. And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, If a soul sin, and commit a trespass
against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or
hath deceived his neighbour; Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth,
sinning therein: Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing
which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, Or all that about which he hath sworn
falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, [and] give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in
the day of his trespass offering. In that day I will perform against Eli all [things] which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will
also make an end. Woe be unto thee, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perisheth: for thy sons are taken captives, and thy daughters captives. The
salutation by the hand of me Paul. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great
noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Neither shall Pharaoh with

chief of Solomon’s officers which [were] over the work, three thousand and three hundred, which ruled over the people that wrought in the work. Thou
hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done. And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; And the dove
came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth [was] an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. Selah. And Saul eyed David from that day and forward. Moreover I make a
decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, [even] of the tribute beyond
the river, forthwith expences be given unto these men, that they be not hindered. Hide not thy face from me in the day [when] I am in trouble;
incline thine ear unto me: in the day [when] I call answer me speedily. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according
to their families, the cities and their villages. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Therefore
he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about [them] walls, and towers, gates, and bars, [while] the land [is] yet before us;
because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought [him], and he hath given us rest on every side. All things that the Father hath are mine:
therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you. All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it [is] most holy. He
will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out [his]
hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will
not sit with the wicked. So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that
[were] with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found. Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus
which is called Christ? The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Every day they wrest my words: all
their thoughts [are] against me for evil. And he said unto them, What have I done now in comparison of you? And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of
wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and
they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. Then she came and told the man of God. Thus saith
the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her
own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. And Hatach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai. For ye say, Where [is] the
house of the prince? O LORD God of hosts, who [is] a strong LORD like unto thee? How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [yea, sweeter] than honey to
my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that
he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, [which] is a witness

sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness,
giving them the Holy Ghost, even as [he did] unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. And Moses took the
wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites. And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for

thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the
mother of us all. The measure thereof [is] longer than the earth, and broader than the sea. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded
Moses. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these [things], that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names
by the greatness of his might, for that [he is] strong in power; not one faileth. For [it had been] better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that
we should die in the wilderness. Or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of
[this] threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed
from the people. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son,
and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him]. So they executed judgment against Joash. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is]
stretched out still. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all
[these] things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time
they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them. Yea, also I continued in the work of this wall, neither bought we any land: and
all my servants [were] gathered thither unto the work. For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building
of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 1So king Solomon was king over all Israel. 1And king Solomon answered and said unto
his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD [is] upon you. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. Can the
rush grow up without mire? Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and
fifty men to run before him. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue
forty [and] two months. And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved [it]. And he said, Let him alone;
let no man move his bones. Rehum the chancellor and Shimshai the scribe wrote a letter against Jerusalem to Artaxerxes the king in this sort: Then
[wrote] Rehum the chancellor, and Shimshai the scribe, and the rest of their companions; the Dinaites, the Apharsathchites, the Tarpelites, the
Apharsites, the Archevites, the Babylonians, the Susanchites, the Dehavites, [and] the Elamites, And the rest of the nations whom the great and
noble Asnappar brought over, and set in the cities of Samaria, and the rest [that are] on this side the river, and at such a time. Even as Sodom and
Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an
example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of
the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. Let as many servants as
are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and [his] doctrine be not blasphemed. And the LORD spake unto
Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever [he be] of the house of Israel,
or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the
LORD for a burnt offering; [Ye shall offer] at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. Then came in all
the king’s wise [men]: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof. And Jesus departed from thence,
and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but
because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. I have found no cause of death in him: I
will therefore chastise him, and let [him] go. For vain man would be wise, though man be born [like] a wild ass’s colt. 1So Solomon overlaid the
house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold. And he came up, and told
his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.
Walked we not in the same spirit? All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of
Israel. Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of
Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Behold how many things they witness against thee. And the
servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have here at hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: [that] will I give to the man of God, to
tell us our way. And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: For
it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. And the
side chambers [were] three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which [was] of the house for the side chambers
round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house. For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought;
and ye shall be redeemed without money. Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination
[is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for all the earth
shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. 1And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I [am but]
a little child: I know not [how] to go out or come in. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. For the
woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to [her] husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of
[her] husband. 1And all the guests that [were] with Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and went every man his way. And he saith unto them, Whosoever
shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. Therefore also will I make [thee] sick in smiting thee, in making
[thee] desolate because of thy sins. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man
prevail. For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God. And his father in law, the damsel’s father, retained
him; and he abode with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there. And Abimelech rose up, and all the people that [were] with him,
by night, and they laid wait against Shechem in four companies. And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: And Nahor lived after he
begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters. And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the
valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen. In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house;
neither shall ye break a bone thereof. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I [am] the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of
Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread
abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be
buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies. And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall eat it in the holy
place: for it [is] most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute. Now there cried a certain woman of the wives
of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the
creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. [It is]
better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house. And his mother’s name [was] Naamah an Ammonitess. And
they took strong cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in
abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness. Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on
the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed. Now ye are
full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you. And when Moses heard
[that], he was content. On the morrow they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the castle: Who, when they came to Caesarea, and
delivered the epistle to the governor, presented Paul also before him. When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor
come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the
teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; [it is] because the thing
[is] established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, [in]
the field of Zoan. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced
themselves through with many sorrows. And his hand [is] stretched out, and who shall turn it back? And when Saul’s son heard that Abner was dead in
Hebron, his hands were feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled. And this is [but] a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the
Moabites also into your hand. And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him. Judge me, O God, and plead my
cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews
that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. The north wind driveth away rain: so [doth] an angry
countenance a backbiting tongue. Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none
other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, [and] that he should be the first that should
rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. Three times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.
And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, [of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. And
when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee [when thou wast] in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee [when
thou wast] in thy blood, Live. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things [which were sent] from you, an
odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. These [are]
the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls [were] seven. And Hilkiah, and [they]
that the king [had appointed], went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe;
(now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that [effect]. For all the people and all Israel understood that day that it
was not of the king to slay Abner the son of Ner. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon
this very thing. [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was

shall look, and, behold, [if] the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper; Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two
birds alive [and] clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel
over running water: As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living
bird in the blood of the bird [that was] killed over the running water: And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven
times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field. He measured the east side with the measuring reed,
five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about. Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have
