Enjoy nature at this family centre where visitors can take part in activities or spend the
day relaxing with a picnic beside the lake.
Visitors can enjoy a lakeside walk, or hire a rowing boat. They can wander through the
forest on foot and discover the wildlife for themselves, or ride on our miniature railway
right around the lake and through the forest. Children can touch and talk to the goats
and sheep on our mini-farm and then explore our great adventure playground, before
stopping for a delicious snack or a meal at our brand new Lakeside café.

D. Lucky’s Theme Park

The park has over thirty thrilling attractions including many new rides. This year’s
additions include the adventurous Gorilla Jungle, and the ghostly Lost Ship. Other big
favorites are still here, including Rocket and Speed Boat and of course the adventure
playground.

THE ICE DOGS

I came to Chukotka, in Russia, to go on a (1) ______ up the coast to the Bering Strait with a team of dogs.

NIAGARA FALLS

Of all the natural wonders of the world, few are as spectacular as Niagara Falls. Located on the
Niagara River along the border between the United States and Canada, Niagara Falls actually consists of two
falls, the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. The former is on the US side of the border, in the state of
New York, while the later is on the Canadian side. About 85% of the water in Niagara River flows over the
Horseshoe Falls, which is the more impressive of the two falls.
About 10 million people visit the falls each year, most during the summer tourist season. Sightseers
can ride steamers up close to the boiling water of the falls, or view them from parks on both sides of the
river. Niagara Falls has long been a popular honeymoon destination for newlyweds.
