BACHELOR ADMISSIONS GUIDE
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Technology Development and Management Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS)
degree gives students a solid credential in the evolving field of technology management.
Students will receive a balance of technology and management education to make you a
front-runner in today's competitive environment.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted to the bachelor’s degree program in Technology Development and Management, you need:
1) Earn an Associate of Science degree in a CCIT discipline.

2) Complete a minimum of 60 credits from a regionally accredited institution, including


15 credits of general education courses
ENC 1101 – Composition I or equivalent
A college-level math course: MAT 1033, MAT 1100, STA 2023, STA 2023H or any course with MAC, MGF, MTG or MAS prefix
21 technical credits from acceptable certificates or classes that begin with the prefixes CAP, CEN, CET*, CGS, CIS, CNT, COP,
or CTS - with a grade C or higher (*with the exception of CET 1114)
3) A cumulative GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale or higher.
Please note:
Students entering with an A.S. in a CCIT discipline are automatically admissible to this program.*
*Students wishing to select the Software Development sub-plan of this program must have completed the Computer Programming & Analysis AS degree OR the Computer
Programming Specialist Certificate in order to be admitted.
For students entering with an Associate of Arts degree, unrelated Associate in Science degree, or 60- credit hours, 21 technical credits are required for admissions into the
Bachelor's program (classes that begin with the prefixes CAP, CEN, CET*, CGS, CIS, CNT, COP, or CTS - with a grade C or higher (*with the exception of CET 1114) .

FRESHMAN

Select a CCIT Associate in Science program or speak to an Academic Advisor about an Associate in Arts program.
Pay your application fee and submit your official, final high school transcript.
Meet with an Academic Advisor to help you get started!

TRANSFER STUDENTS
Apply to SPC. Click HERE to apply to SPC!
Select the Technology Development & Management Bachelors’ program as your major.
Choose a subplan- 1) Cloud Computing 2) Cybersecurity 3) Data Science 4) Project Management
5) Software Development 7) Cybersecurity Defense & Mitigation
Pay your application fee and submit official transcripts from all prior colleges attended.
Return your 'Intent to Participate' form when notified of your acceptance.

CURRENT SPC STUDENTS


Verify you are on track to complete your program prerequisites with your Academic Advisor.
Log into MySPC to apply to the Technology Development & Management Bachelors’ program.
Choose a subplan- 1) Cloud Computing 2) Cybersecurity 3) Data Science 4) Project Management
5) Software Development 7) Cybersecurity Defense & Mitigation
Return your 'Intent to Participate' form when notified of your acceptance.
