Dear hiring manager,

I came across this position at The Hockey Shop as a part time till worker on Indeed and I was
immediately motivated to apply. I would like the till position because I have a strong passion for
hockey and I believe that I would easily be able to connect with the patrons.

I believe I should be hired for this job because I am a highly motivated, ambitious student,
who does well in school. With volunteer experience over the years, and playing on sports teams, I've
strengthened my abilities to communicate and work well with others. I am always willing and ready to
help others when they require my assistance. When it comes to completing a task, I am a strong and
very determined person, and I will always do my best to make it a job well done.

Playing on a sports team has also given me strong leadership skills, and it has shown me that
success doesn't come easy and that you'll only get good results if you put in an effort. If hired for this
position, I will apply the same mindset and put in maximum effort for the best results.
