Towards Reconstruction of Ukraine and stability of Central Asia

- The Role of EBRD
Starting with the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the situation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia
is in flux. For regional stability, it is important to promote the economic development of the Central
Asian region as well as the prompt reconstruction of Ukraine after the conflict. The key to promoting
reconstruction and economic development is the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
(EBRD), a multilateral development bank.
In this seminar, the role that the EBRD has played in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and its efforts to
address regional issues after the conflict in Ukraine, will be introduced, and talk about her career
development so far.

Lecturer: European Bank for Reconstruction and Graduated from Sophia University, Faculty of Law, MSc
from the London School of Economics

International Bureau of MOF, she was engaged in
development finance policy and international
organization-related work (in charge of the
International Monetary Fund (IMF), Organization for
Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD),
Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), African
Development Bank (AfDB), etc.). She has also been
seconded to the EBRD Japan Board of Directors Office
in London. In July 2022, she joined the European Bank
for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and
assumed her current position.
