Sustainable Development and Your Project: Sustainable development means improving the people’s
welfare not only the present but also future generations.
When valuable resources are used for a project, there is always the underlying issue of sustainable
development. As responsible people in our community, we must ensure that:
1. Environmental integrity is maintained so that health and security of others in the community and
the life-sustaining ecosystems are ensured.
