INSTILLING HONESTY AND TIME-CONSCIOUSNESS AMIDST THE PANDEMIC

Most schools specially in elementary have upheld the value of honesty for ages. And now year 2022-
2023 face to face classes are now open school values form a basis of life and what a child learns as
they grow into responsible adulthood. As a little kid in this pandemic, we should learnt to understand
the importance of being honest, the efforts of teachers in instilling the value of honest and time-
conscious. Everybody needs an honest person beside them although this is a luxury that everyone
cannot have and being time-concious knows how to dealt or know that time is gold and never be
wasted. We have been able to know that living an honest life is not easy and requires a different point
of view in explaining the intention of course of actions. Growing up in school in this time of pandemic
or before pandemic taught us to abide by the honest value as it is the best policy there is a saying
"honesty is the best Policy" There is nothing more humiliating than being called a liar by a person
close to you, right? One lie is all it takes to banish and lose person’s trust and change the person’s
perception towards you. And as a pupil/students being honest is one of key founding values of strong
friendship. Throughout our life, parents, teachers and the older always stressed the importance of
honesty as it is the backbone of one’s word and actions. Without honesty, words would be vague
without any meaning. Trust issues have infested and destroyed numerous relationships simply
because people cannot be honest witheach other. Although telling the truth may hurt our friend’s
feelings, we have decided between living a lie and telling the truth. We should have learned that
being honest is worth the risks and is significant in building relationships.Being honest comes with
numerous privileges. The virtue of honesty gives a person a good reputation. For instance, an honest
person uses his/her reputation to manipulate others to trust made decisions and actions.

In this time of pandemic how being time-concious is important? Back to school stressesd mostly of
the students specially in the lower year in the primary schools but it's also excite them. However we
shoyld give them also a space to think of their actions and routines. We all know that this pandemic
changed the time how we spend it day by day there is "new" that we're not aware of and "new" for
excitements but weeks and months seemed to pass slowly for most people, but hours and minutes
weren't affected. "It might be that confinement didn’t change our short-term functioning," according
to Laje "We still had to go to the bathroom, still had to type or write, and still had to cook." so
meaning pandemic time has been distorted across cultures, but differences have emerged.
