Job responsibilities as Purchase Engineer.

Sourcing and Getting quotation for major items like Raw Materials and Mechanical Bought
out items Related to Project and Indirect Purchase.

Mechanical bought items: Fasteners, bearings, couplings, valves, hydraulic & pneumatic
fittings, Gauges, Consumables and Packing Material which are required for SPM.
Responsible for various materials function including material planning, procurement,
vendor development, approval & evaluation etc.
Float enquiries for materials & maintaining comparative statement of quotations analytical
decision making and problem solving skills.
Negotiating with vendor's reg. materials & services, pricing of the components, payment,
delivery terms etc. Maintain global supplier cost competitiveness & global sourcing

Processing of PO's in co-coordination with various departments like finance, costing,

Job responsibilities as Planning and Purchase Engineer

 Planning Day to Day Activity to complete the project on time.

 Floating Drawings to different Vendor and suppliers with all technical details and get
quotations.
 Evaluating Vendor’s/suppliers Technical & Commercial Capabilities and selection of
supplier’s offer.
 Selection of the Supplier and approval of supplier as per the project requirements.
 ABC classification of vendors on the basis of criteria like cost, quality, timely delivery etc.
 Preparation of detailed estimation and costing with help of Microsoft Excel. Estimation of
each item, comparison with offers negotiation with supplier & getting approval from
department head.
 Raising the job order and purchase order on the basis of comparison statement with
detailed specification, drawings and documents to the vendors.
 Regular follow up with supplier and expediting delivery as per the project plan and set
production levels and agree shift arrangements to meet daily, weekly and monthly
targets.

AVASARALA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED

Worked as a Project Engineer in Avasarala Technologies Ltd. In Nuclear Power Unit from
Nov-2016 to Dec-2019

 Receive the Work order from Business development as like a Tender document and
detail study of tender documents, customer drawings, specification & requirements.
 Preparation of detailed Project plan by using MS PROJECT tool for tracking the current
status of the individual assembly and components.

 Estimate the Raw material and BOP’s with reference from Customer drawings, prepare
