Examinations for conducted for Individual components
through an OLE ( Online Examination ) Tool or a tool named
Perception Tool.
Usually 2 Quizes ( 15 questions ,15 marks each) + Test ( 35
questions - 70 marks )
totally 100 Marks.
Projects are group projects which carries normally 40 marks.
Qualification Criteria

For a trainee to complete the training successfully, a set of
criteria has to be satisfied. The qualification criteria for the
foundation level training is as follows.
The trainee should not have any of the following:
1. More than 2 “C” grades across all courses (generic and
stream)
2. GPA less than 4.0
3. “D” or an “E” grade after retest for any course.
In case the trainee falls under any of the above, E&R will
further evaluate the trainee to prove his/her capability (at
the end of the training) and meet the required criteria for
completion.
He/she will be required to appear for an “Oral examination”.
Please refer to the docement Guidelines for Oral
Examination for details of the oral examination.
If the trainee does not clear the oral examination, he/she will
need to appear and clear one more oral examination in the
next three months. E&R will provide sufficient support in
terms of mentoring. This is applicable only for the trainees
belonging to long cycle program.
On successful completion of training, the trainee will be
released to production. On failure, for trainees from long
cycle, HR department will take appropriate action and
trainees from short cycle will move to the next long cycle
training
The performance incentive as part of the compensation
benefit for the trainee will be determined by the
performance in the training period. The performance criteria
will depend on the GPA obtained by the trainee. GPA for each
trainee will be calculated (for both streams in Long cycle and
one integrated stream for short cycle) at the end of the

credit points for all the courses in the foundation level
program.

The GPA for each stream is calculated with the credit points
for each evaluated course and the grades awarded to a
trainee.
