WRITING YOUR FINAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING REPORT

Your final report should be printed and submitted according to the following guidelines:

1. The text should be typed in 11 point Arial font.


2. Chapter heading’s font size should be typed in 12 point Arial font with Bold
effect.
3. Computer programme or source code should be typed in 10 point Courier New
font.
4. All titles (excluding subtitles) should be typed using BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS
5. All texts and paragraphs format should be justified.
6. Reports are types using a one-and-a-half spacing.
7. Send the draft of the report to School/Academic Supervisor for final checking.
8. Once the School/ Academic Supervisor has checked the draft and satisfied with
it, students need to update and finally print in 2 copies for the final version of the
report
9. Final report should be printed in colour version and bind it with plastic cover
front and back. Use black ring binding (comb).
10. Final submission : 1) Industrial Training Report (2 copies)
2) CD (1 unit – use CD Cover for the labeling)
3) Attendance Report
11. Report format should follow the following given outline of Table of
Contents. Please refer to the pdf file for the sample of first four pages of
your report – until disclaimer (First_four_pages.pdf). The Hard Cover page
should follow the format of the first page (see Hard_Cover.pdf).

you developed. Screen capture and coding should be placed in the Appendix Section.
3.4 List of other projects/tasks
Explain other tasks that took place during the industrial training – example, preparation,
maintenance, repair, brochure design, reporting etc.

 Discuss things that you have learnt from the supervisor, other employees and reference
materials or manual.
 Describe the benefit you gained during this industrial training.
 Discuss new things or technologies that you have learnt during the industrial training

 Discuss problems faced during task execution, general skills, soft skills and other
implementation problem during the industrial training

4.3 Recommendations
 Constructive suggestions of overall task performance.
